Abstract

A valve of a hydraulically striking device having a housing, the housing comprising a moving member being seated inside the housing to move in a reciprocating manner by means of a hydraulic fluid. The moving member has an inner space, the valve has a return space and a pressure space provided, in the axial direction, at a distance from one another on the inner surface of the housing facing the moving member, wherein the rest of the inner surface of the housing in the same axial positions of the return space and the pressure space forms guide surfaces that are concentric with the moving member and against the moving member for centering the moving member.

Abstract

A valve of a hydraulically striking device having a housing, the housing having a moving member being seated inside the housing to move in a reciprocating manner by means of a hydraulic fluid. The moving member has an inner space, the housing has at least a first abutment surface abutting the moving member, the first abutment surface of the housing has a first surface located in a radial inner portion of the first abutment surface, wherein the first surface is arranged in fluid communication with the inner space, and a second surface located in a radial outer portion of the first abutment surface, wherein the second surface is arranged to form a sealing surface.

Abstract

A rock drilling machine includes a frame, and arranged inside the frame is a drill rod. A hammer gear is arranged to hammer the drill rod rear end. There is arranged around the drill rod a position sleeve and an arrangement to move position sleeve in an axial direction against hammering piston so that a counter surface of the position sleeve meets the counter surface whereby, on continuing the positioning, the drill rod is movable to the point desired. The counter surface by use of a spring element is arranged to flex in regard to the other structure of the position sleeve so that in the drilling position the sleeve is arranged to be freely backing against the front side of the drilling machine, and when in the drilling operation the positioning impact on the position sleeve against the hammering piston is removed.
