Abstract

Described herein is a seed composition comprising seed with a number of coatings and mixed with amphiphilic compound and hydrogel forming agent. The resulting seed composition which may be dry, is a single product configured to be storage stable and, when broadcast to a site, acts to deter or kill localised plant growth around the seed as defined by the agrochemical activity if agrochemical is present. The seed composition also supports nutrient levels and hydration about the seed resulting in high levels of subsequent seed germination. Related methods of manufacture and use are also described herein.

Abstract

Described herein are formulations and methods of manufacture providing levamisole in a salt form with an additional anthelmintic having a different class of activity. The formulation uses a multi- solvent system to produce a topically applied formulation with all compounds in solution. In one aspect a formulation is described comprising in solution a mixture of a therapeutically effective amount of levamisole salt dissolved in at least one inorganic solvent; and a therapeutically effective amount of at least one additional anthelmintic compound with a different class of activity to levamisole, the at least one additional anthelmintic compound being substantially lipophilic and being dissolved in at least one organic solvent. A related veterinary medicament and method of treatment of parasites are also described.

Abstract

Described herein are methods of improving plant tolerance to various stresses / growth challenges by application of a plant bio-stimulant composition comprising a mixture of lysed cellular components from at least one strain of bacteria and/or at least one strain of yeast, optionally diluted in a carrier and applied to at least one plant. Specifically, plant tolerance to abiotic stress, temperature extremes and transplantation are enhanced by application of the composition. One advantage of the methods described is that they use a naturally produced composition and do not require the use of synthetically produced chemicals. Further, the methods described avoid the need to breed plant varieties with the desired tolerance traits.

Abstract

Described herein are stable veterinary formulations and methods of treatment and use, comprising at least one macrocyclic lactone and levamisole as active anthelmintic agents, optionally also with at least one benzimidazole class anthelmintic, wherein the actives are solubilized together in a solvent system comprising dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO). The veterinary formulations, methods and use thereof include the ability to deliver two or more anthelmintic actives in the one solution (or suspension) while also maintaining formulation stability when stored over a period of time. Delivery of different anthelmintics with different activities allows several classes of parasite to be targeted in one dose.
