An articulating tire valve install-removal tool and related methods for use. The articulating tire valve install-removal tool has a body comprising an outer perimeter, an inner recess, a threaded member, a linkage and a contact member. The articulating tire valve install-removal tool components are connected to each other and secured within the body so one or more components can rotate around one or more axes. Together these components facilitate in the valve being installed and removed perpendicular or generally perpendicular to the valve hole on the wheel. The articulating tire valve stem tool includes a linkage assembly that is attached to the body to facilitate in ensuring the valve is installed and removed with the valve perpendicular to the valve hole in the wheel rim. The articulating tire valve stem tool includes contact member includes a feature that prevents slipping on the rim during use in addition to acting as a fulcrum to increase mechanical advantage during the use of the articulating tire valve install-removal tool. The articulating tire valve stem install-removal tool includes a contact member that has a feature that inhibits or prevents damage or slipping on the wheel during use in addition to acting as a fulcrum to increase mechanical advantage during the use of the articulating tire valve install-removal tool. The contact member also includes a feature to lock the threaded member parallel or generally parallel to the body which allows for the device to attach to the valve quickly. The body of the articulating tire valve stem tool reduces deflection, increases ergonomics and is more durable due to the design.
An air chuck includes a body and a valve core interface. The body includes output, interface, and input ports. The body defines a first passageway that extends between the output and interface ports. The input port defines a second passageway that is in fluid communication with the first passageway. The valve core interface is slidably coupled with the body and is slidable between extended and retracted positions. The valve core interface includes a shaft and a knob. The shaft includes proximal and distal ends. The distal end is at least partially disposed in the first passageway. The knob is coupled with the proximal end of the shaft. The shaft is rotatably coupled with the body and is selectively rotatable in either tightening or loosening directions via the knob. The distal end of the shaft comprises a grasping feature that is configured to grasp a valve core of a valve stem.

Tamper-resistant caps, assemblies and systems for use with a valve
Tamper-proof cap systems and methods for use with an access valve, such as a refrigeration access valve, are provided. A tamper-proof cap assembly for use with an access valve can include a cylindrical outer cap and a cylindrical inner cap, wherein the inner cap captively resides within and rotates freely within the outer cap. The inner cap of a tamper-proof cap assembly can threadingly receive the threaded end of an access valve. A tamper-proof cap system can include a tamper-proof cap assembly and a tool for manipulating the inner cap such that a user with the tool can manipulate the tamper-proof cap and screw it onto or off of an access valve. Without the tool the tamper-proof cap cannot be removed from the access valve.

B65D 50/14 - Closures with means for discouraging unauthorised opening or removal thereof, with or without indicating means, e.g. child-proof closures openable or removable only by means of special opening member
Systems and methods for monitoring tires of a vehicle are provided. The systems can include a sensing device adapted to engage a tire of a vehicle and sense properties of a tire such as pressure and/or temperature. The sensing devices can be adapted to transmit sensed data to a system receiver adapted to provide the data to a user. The systems and methods can provide a user the desired information pertaining to one or more tires of a vehicle that are to be monitored, and the respective locations of the tires. The systems and methods can be adapted to monitor tires on any vehicle with inflatable tires, including off-the-road (OTR) vehicles.

Tire pressure monitoring apparatuses, systems and methods
Tire pressure monitoring apparatuses, systems and method for adapting a tire pressure monitoring apparatus to be used with a plurality of valve stem configurations. Tire pressure monitoring transducers and sensors designed for use with a single valve stem design can be modified to universally accept a plurality of valve stems when coupled with the presently disclosed adapter. Use of an adapter of the presently disclosed subject matter can adapt a tire pressure monitoring apparatus such that it is suitable for use with a wide range of existing valve stems, including valve stems not originally designed to be used with the tire pressure monitoring apparatus. The adapter is suitable for use with tire pressure monitoring transducers and sensors.
