Abstract
The invention relates to a shaping method comprising the following steps: - introducing a tube (104) into an opening in a die (101), the opening having at least one region having a smaller circumference than an outer circumference of the tube (104); and then - moving the die (101), the tube (104) being internally hollow during the movement or an inner tool being arranged inside the tube (104) during the movement in the region of the die (101), said tool being removed from the tube (104) after the movement has ended.

Abstract
In order to provide a drawing method for shaping workpieces of metallic materials, the workpiece (3) being drawn through a die aperture (2) narrowing in the drawing direction (4), and thereby reduced in cross section and increased in length, by way of forming under combined tensile and compressive conditions, where high levels of shaping can be achieved in each operation and, if need be, particularly preferred mechanical properties of the workpiece can be produced during the drawing process, it is proposed that the workpiece (3) and/or the drawing die (1) is/are moved during the drawing process in an oscillating manner about an axis (5) running transversely in relation to the drawing direction (4).
