Abstract

The invention relates to a dental implant that enables an attachment to be connected thereto in a rotary and anti-rotary manner. The implant has an opening, on the upper end thereof, for receiving said attachment having a first conical upper housing, followed by a portion with a polygonal cross-section, and finally by a second conical lower housing. In this way, the first housing enables the rotary connection of an attachment having a conical lower end corresponding to the first housing. The second housing, in turn, enables the anti-rotary connection of an attachment having a lower end including a portion with a polygonal cross-section corresponding to the portion with a polygonal cross-section of the dental implant, followed by a lower conical end corresponding to the second housing. Furthermore, both the first housing and the second housing have a step that enables the insertion of a lower end of the corresponding attachment, but prevents the involuntary extraction thereof once it has been inserted.

Abstract

The invention relates to a flexible dental prosthesis system which can be used to couple different elements to one another without requiring the use of screws. The system of the invention comprises: a longitudinally elongate flexible screw having a first end that can be screwed into a dental implant and an open, inwardly deformable second end including an internal threaded opening and an external projecting flange; a transmucosal pillar including a through-hole suitable for receiving the flexible screw; and an upper connecting element having a hole at one end for coupling to the second end of the flexible screw by means of a lower notch provided in the hole that corresponds to the external projecting flange on the second end of the flexible screw.
