Abstract

A method for facilitating a secure transaction with an automated teller machine (ATM) with a user's electronic device, via a wireless interface. The method includes receiving a priming action from the user, priming the electronic device for an interaction with the ATM, via the wireless interface of the electronic device, displaying on a touch-screen display user interface of the electronic device at least one image and information, representing at least one of a user selectable selected transaction account, authorizing a valid user of the electronic device, via an identification of an authorized user of the electronic device using the selected transaction account, and transmitting, over the wireless interface of the electronic device and the ATM, a limited-use transaction information used in place of an issued information associated with the selected transaction account. The limited-use transaction information includes a static transaction information and a dynamically generated transaction information. The static transaction information is retrieved from a memory of the electronic device in response to the authorized user selecting the selected transaction account, and the dynamically generated transaction information is generated by a processor of the electronic device in response to the authorized user initiating an interaction with an ATM transaction, and combining an information of: the selected transaction account, a sequential count of transactions performed by the electronic device with the transaction account, an information of the authorized user, a transaction-specific information, a wireless interface transactional information, an information specific to the electronic device performing the transaction, a secret associated with the selected transaction account. The electronic device provides a visual status, of the ATM interaction via the wireless interface, including a transaction success or a failure status, through the user interface.

Abstract

A method of transacting an electronic payment information, associated with an issued payment account, for a payment transaction from a multi-function smart tokenizing electronic device. The computing-device/local-host can execute a second application to locally render a remote internet resource, such as a web page, which may additionally request the input of one or more sensitive-attribute data entry fields. The execution therebefore described can thus aid the computing device to more intelligently decide to: permit, restrict, or modify data generation methods in an auto-population entry of the one or more sensitive-attribute data entry fields, including but not limited to: selecting a payment information generation method for such data fields, based on risk analysis of said uniform resource identifier. This embodiment of the present disclosure can improve the ability of said computing device and said device user to more-immediately and objectively: identify, avoid, or manage; phishing and hacking attacks, versus those from legitimate or reputationally-sound remote hosts.

A payment card device includes a thin card-shaped payment-card-standard compatible body, a memory, a processor coupled to the memory; and a payment card reader interface.
