Abstract
A multi-leaf collimator control method and system. The method comprises the steps of: controlling a multi-leaf collimator to be initialized and to move to a zero position; receiving treatment data, the treatment data comprising position information of a number N of treatment points and the shapes of fields at the N treatment points; rotating a treatment head to the conformal position of the first treatment point, and controlling the multi-leaf collimator to begin to conform the shape of the field at the first treatment point to start the treatment at the first treatment point; when the treatment head is rotated to a conformal position between the K-1th treatment point and the Kth treatment point, controlling the multi-leaf collimator to begin to conform the shape of the field at the Kth treatment point to start the treatment at the Kth treatment point; and carrying out the described operations repeatedly until the treatment at all treatment points is completed. The multi-leaf collimator control method and system can reduce treatment deviation during the treatment caused by improper control for the conformation of the multi-leaf collimator and radiation of the treatment head, thereby avoiding radiation damage to normal parts of a patient.
