Abstract

An air-drying device for sludge comprises at least one section air-drying mechanism, a quantitative feeding mechanism and a dehumidifying and heating mechanism. The air-drying mechanism is provided with two sections. The quantitative feeding mechanism connects with the beginning end of the first section air-drying mechanism (5) whose terminal end communicates with the beginning end of the second section air-drying mechanism (8), and a discharge port (21) is arranged above the communicating position. The terminal end of the second air-drying mechanism communicates with the beginning end of the first air-drying mechanism thus forming a loop structure. The device has high efficiency and low energy consumption. The stay time of the sludge in the drying device is adjustable so that the water-content rate of the discharging material is adjustable.

Abstract

A method of integration of concentration-dehydration and aerobic air-drying of sewage sludge comprises the following steps: (a) conditioning by an organic agent (3); (b) gravitationally concentrating (5) the residual sludge conditioned by the organic agent; (c) conditioning by inorganic agents (7); (d) mechanically dehydrating (8); (e) crushing and dispersing (10); and (f) aerobically air-drying (11). The method has the following advantages: (i) to improve the sedimentation performance of the residual sludge, thus improving the concentration efficiency of sludge, reducing the concentrating time and reducing the volume of the concentrating pool; (ii) to reduce the volume of the dehydrated sludge correspondingly, thus reducing the succedent heat treatment load; (iii) to have low energy consumption for drying; (iv) the sludge granules moving at low speed during the drying process, thus being produced stably and securely without powder; (v) the dried exhaust air can reach environmental-friendly standard discharge after being washed by water; (vi) the output sludge granules are not compact, which is good for utilizing as the succedent resources.

Abstract

A method for aerobically air-drying sludge filter cakes is provided. The method comprises: crushing and dispersing the sludge filter cakes into sludge granular layers; conveying dry air at certain temperature into the sludge granular layers moving at low speed or overturned with positive pressure; physically or chemically sterilizing the sludge granules moving at low speed or overturned; washing the tail gas pumped out by negative pressure and then discharging it; making the dried sludge granules further pulverized. At the same time, an apparatus for carrying out the method is also provided. The method is high in heat conducting and mass transferring efficiency when drying, and low in energy consumption for drying. It quickens the drying speed. The sludge granules can be stably and securely produced during the drying process. In addition, the dried tail gas can meet the environment-friendly discharge standard, and the output sludge is good for sludge reclamation.
