The invention provides a fluid flow connector of the type that includes a flexible rubber bulb-like body (11) that is mounted over the spout of a tap. According to the invention the flexible body is substantially encased in a cradle (18) that prevents inflation of the body when subjected to internal water pressure. The cradle is preferably secured to the tap by a releasable strap (19).
The invention provides a method of mounting a shower curtain rod, and/or a shower curtain rod assembly, that includes an adhesive support to supplement the conventional mounting. The adhesive support is preferably incorporated in caps that cover the junctions between the rod and the walls between which the rod is mounted.
The invention provides a method and apparatus for mounting a toilet seat to a toilet pan, the characteristic feature being that, in addition to being clamped to the pan in the conventional manner, the seat hinge is adhered to the pan to prevent sliding movement of the hinge relative to the pan.

The present invention provides a mounting for attachment to a substantially vertical surface, comprising a fixing member (1), having an adhesive layer (4) for contacting and bonding to a surface, a rotatable member (10) comprising a substantially helical or wedge shaped surface (22) engaged with a corresponding substantially helical or wedge shape surface (2) of the fixing member (1), and an intermediate member (5), gripped between the rotatable member (10) and the fixing member (1), in use, wherein the intermediate member (5) has a formation (15) for pressing the fixing member (1) at a position (3) within the outer periphery (23) of the fixing member, so that the fixing member (1) and adhesive layer (4) are not deformed excessively. A stop (25) in the form of a helical spring may be provided for limiting the movement of the fixing member (1) with respect to the rotatable member (10) so that the fixing member is substantially not deformed by the movement of the fixing member with respect to the rotatable member. The periphery (24) of the intermediate member may extend outside the periphery of the adhesive layer (4) in a plane parallel to the surface, in use, to protect it.
The present invention provides a kit and a method for assembling a mounting (1) for mounting furniture to a wall. The kit comprises a mounting part (1) having a first component (2) having a first adhesive receiving portion with double sided adhesive foam applied thereto and a second component (3) having a second receiving portion (12). The first adhesive is chosen to develop a bond very quickly to the wall. The second adhesive forms a bond more slowly but is much stronger and provides the main force for supporting the item of furniture. The first component (2) and the second component (3) are releasably mountable with respect to one another. In another aspect, the second component (3) is provided with cruciform slots (10) which can alternatively be used to fix the component to a wall using screws.

A structure for removable attachment to a substantially vertical surface for example of glass, glazed tiles or metal. The structure includes a suction disk for sealingly contacting a surface, a pulling member attached to the suction disk for drawing a part of the suction disk away from the surface, so that a partial vacuum is created between the suction disk and the surface. Rotation of the rotatable member draws the pulling member and respective part of the suction disk away from the surface. An intermediate member is provided which engages the suction disk and supports the rotatable member. A structural member is mounted in or on the intermediate member. The outer diameter of the rotatable member is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the adjacent part of the intermediate member, so that a user's fingers will grip the rotatable member without catching on parts of the intermediate member.

There is disclosed a mounting for a shower curtain rod (30), the mounting comprising: a first part (10) comprising a bracket (11 ) for mounting to a wall and a bearing section (12), which is rotatably mounted with respect to the bracket about a first axis (II-ll) which is substantially horizontal in use, a second part (20), for engaging the shower curtain rod (30), mounted so that it can rotate with respect to the first part (10) about a second axis(l-l) which is at an angle to the first axis and substantially vertical in use. The present invention relates to a hanging device (1) for attaching cupboards, shelves and the like to a flat surface such as a wall. There is thus provided a hanging device for wall-mounted objects comprising a body (1), first (6) and second (8) apertures in said body, an adjuster (9) which preferably incorporates a cam, movably mountable within said first aperture (6), wherein the hanging device is attached to a wall or surface by way of fixing members which pass through a fixture hole (15) within the adjuster and through the second aperture (8) such that adjustment of the location of the hanging device may be made by adjusting the cam adjuster (9) within the first aperture (6).
In order to provide a structure for removable attachment to a substantially vertical surface for example of glass, glazed tiles or metal, the structure has a mounting means comprising: suction means (1) for sealingly contacting a surface, pulling means (2) being attached to the suction means (1) for drawing a part of the suction means (1) away from the surface, so that a partial vacuum is created between the suction means (1) and the surface. There is a substantially helical or wedge shaped surface on the pulling means (2) engaged with a corresponding substantially helical or wedge shaped surface of a rotatable member (13), whereby rotation of the rotatable member (13) draws the pulling means (2) and respective part of the suction means (1) away from the surface. An intermediate member (5) is provided for engaging a sealing part of the suction means (1), the intermediate member (5) supporting the rotatable member (13). The structure comprises a structural member (10) mounted in or on the intermediate member (5), so that the structural member (10) is not gripped by the intermediate member (5) or rotatable member (13). At least part of the rotatable member extends beyond a part of the intermediate member which is adjacent to the rotatable member.
