Abstract

The device is intended for producing a light, ultrapure water having an increased light molecule 1H 2 16O fraction content therein. The technical results are an increase in the productivity of the device and a reduction in the energy expenditure per unit of finished product. The device is provided with a heat pump; a fractionating column consists of two coaxial pipes having a diameter D1 and D2, with a layer of random packing arranged in the gap therebetween, wherein (D1-D2)/2ឬ300 mm; and a fluid distributor at the top of the column has at least 800 pour points per square metre of the surface of the cross-section of the packed portion of the column.
