The present invention discloses a continuous process for the direct capture of CO2 from the atmospheric air. The present invention specifically discloses the use of phase change amine (solid-liquid) absorbents with suitable solvents, yielding efficient CO2 capture from air. This cyclic approach establishes a continuous method for capturing CO2 directly from air, characterized by significantly reduced energy demand. More particularly, the present invention provides an energy efficient method for capturing CO2 directly from air, using phase change amines, with low regeneration energy.

Abstract
The present invention relates to a cell-penetrating peptide and its derivatives to inhibit -synuclein fibrillation. The present invention specifically relates to a peptide-based inhibitor of Parkinson's Disease. The present invention discloses the identification of the peptides permeable to blood brain barrier for inhibition. -synuclein fibril formation is observed in the presence of peptides as indicated by SEQ. ID-7, SEQ. ID-8 wherein the SEQ. ID-7, SEQ. ID-8 are truncated versions of SEQ. ID-4 having the homology of 83% and 75% respectively. It provides a peptide having an amino acid sequence of Formula 1. The present invention also provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising a peptide of Formula 1 along with the pharmaceutically acceptable excipient(s) having inhibitory activity against ß-sheet polymerisation of amyloidogenic proteins. The analysis showed that peptides corresponding to SEQ. ID-7, SEQ. ID-8 are better inhibitors than SEQ. ID-4 against -synuclein fibrillation.

Abstract
Trypsin/trypsin-like proteases have been reported to be facilitating SARS-CoV-2 entry into host cells. Spike has protease cleavage sites between the S1 and S2 domains. Cleavage property of proteases can be used to design drug screening assays meant for screening antiviral candidates against spike cleavage. In the claimed invention we have developed a proof-of-concept assay system for screening drugs against proteases which cleave spike between S1 and S2. We designed a fusion substrate protein containing a reporter protein, the protease cleavage site between S1 and S2 and a cellulose binding domain. The substrate protein can be immobilized on cellulose due to the presence of cellulose binding domain (CBD). When proteases cleave the substrate, CBD remains bound to cellulose and the reporter protein is dislodged. The released reporter can be used as read out of protease activity.

Abstract
The present invention provides a method for the preparation of building blocks of 2,7-dihydroxy-9-fluorenone towards the synthesis of tilorone dihydrochloride salt and other salts (bromide, iodide, fluoride, citrate, oxalate, maleate, phosphate, tartrate, triflate, trifluoroacetate, tetrafluoroborate) of Tilorone. An efficient, safe, cost effective method for the preparation of 2,7-bis-[2-(diethylamino)ethoxy]-fluorenone-9 and its various salts is developed. Method involves oxygenation of fluorene, nitration of fluorenone followed by reduction and diazotization towards the formation of 2,7-dihydroxy-9-fluorenone which is the key intermediate for the formation of 2,7-bis-[2-(diethylamino)ethoxy]- 9- fluorenone- dihydrochloride (Tilorone dihydrochloride) and other tilorone salts. The current synthesis method of the invention has relatively simple operation, mild reaction conditions, high yield and simple process with, yield 80-97%. Subsequent product purification of this method uses filtration and crystallization methods, avoiding the existing methods of column chromatography.

Abstract
The present invention conveys a fractionation method to isolate different bioactive Phytocannabinoids by solid phase extraction using HP-20 resins and one step method to synthesize C- and O-?-D-glycoside derivatives of Cannabinoid by using a ?-D-glucose donor (O-Glycosyl trichloroacetimidate donor) to obtain glycosidic derivatives. The novel C-glycosides of Cannabinoids displayed significant anti-proliferative properties against wide range of human cancer cell lines as compared to their respective parent molecules. Furthermore, the C- and O glycosides of Cannabinoids also showed anti-invasive and anti-migratory activities against metastatic cancer cells of breast and pancreatic origin. When applied in combination with DNA damaging agent (5-Fluorouracil) to colorectal cancer cells, the C- and O-glycosides of Cannabinoids potentiate DNA damaging property and thus augment apoptosis resulting in an increment in the efficacy of DNA damaging drugs.

Abstract
Engineered FnCas9 variants are provided that have an enhanced kinetic activity and a broader PAM recognition. The protein engineering methodology introduced specific mutations that stabilized interaction between Cas9 enzyme and target DNA. The enhanced kinetic activity increases NHEJ-mediated editing, owing to more efficient DSB generation potential than WT FnCas9, and the broadened PAM specificity increases the target range of FnCas9 variants. Thus, the scope and accessibility of CRISPR-Cas9 system targets are widened, along with generating robust and highly specific engineered FnCas9 variants.

Abstract
The present invention discloses a process for the preparation of poly-benzimidazole (PBI) based membrane electrode assembly (MEA) with improved fuel cell performance and stability. It discloses a simple strategy to overcome the leaching of phosphoric acid (PA) from the membrane during fuel cell operation by an in-situ Current- Voltage (I-V) assisted doping of membrane with PA. The invention provides an improved method for the preparation of membrane electrode assembly (MEA) wherein said MEA possess high stability and improved fuel cell performance achieved by overcoming the leaching of phosphoric acid during cell operation.

Abstract
PBI-based MEAs for high temperature Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) were prepared by direct hot pressing of catalyst layer on Teflon sheets on to both sides of phosphoric acid doped PBI membrane (decal transfer). These MEAs show two times higher performance compared to the MEAs prepared by normal brush coating method on GDL at an operating temperature of 160°C.

Abstract
The present invention provides a method of tandem cropping for increased production of up to 40% in wheat and mustard crops using varieties with phenological plasticity and temperature tolerance traits. The cereal bread wheat and oil seed mustard are traditional winter season (Rabi) crops in north India/ Indo-Gangetic plains. This area experiences receding levels of warm weather and long days in September, October and November, progressive increase and then decrease of cold conditions and short days between November and March and onset of warm weather turning into summer and relatively longer days in March and April. Conventionally a seasonal crop of wheat or mustard or wheat followed by mustard or vice versa could be taken in the winter Rabi season of Indo-Gangetic plains to increase the production of these commodities. The concept has not occurred to persons skilled in the art of wheat cultivation and breeding and as far as is known there is no report of tandem cultivation of wheat under natural seasonal changes of agro-climates in areas where wheat cultivation is practised. For tandem cropping, wheat and mustard cultivars must posses properties of flowering under long day or short day conditions, tolerating temperature gradients and reaching maturity earlier than normal.
