Abstract

A lid for containers, such as cans and the like, of a type having an edge (B) connected to a side flank (2A) of the container (2) to which it is associated, the lid (20) being provided with: a groove (10) having a "U" section following around the side flank (2A) of the container (2); a pre-fracture line (3) made in a bottom (10A) of the groove (10) and a weakening line (4), provided in an edge joining an inner wall (10B) of said groove (10), the groove (10) being designed to receive a tool (50) used as a lever for at least partially removing the lid from the respective container following breaking of the pre-fracture line (3) and a consequent oscillation of the inner wall (10B) of the groove inwards around the weakening line (4), the lid comprising an anti-fracture line (5) made on the bottom of the groove (10), the anti-fracture line (5) being provided to increase resistance to stresses acting on the bottom (10A).

Abstract

Machine for cutting the paper wrapping (2) which wraps and holds together in a packing (3) at least a stack of axial-symmetrical products (4) and/or at least an extended product (4), comprising a casing (5) for containing and protecting the moving parts, which contains a cutting station (T), comprising cutting means (6), comprising in turn at least a blade (7), and means (8) for folding in longitudinal direction, substantially uniformly and towards outside a portion (9) of the side surface of the paper wrapping (2) of a packing (3'), which is disposed in the cutting station (T), said portion (9) of the side surface having a length substantially corresponding to the longitudinal extension of the same packing (3, 3'); said machine (1) comprising also moving means (61 ) of said blade (7) for positioning the same at the folded portion (9) of the surface of the paper wrapping (2) and for translating it along the folded portion (9) itself, so that it is longitudinally cut.

Abstract

The apparatus for electrophoretic repainting of metal objects, in particular lids for containers for food use, comprises a tank (30) containing an electrophoretic bath; an electrode, immersed in the eletrophoretic bath, a conveyor line (10), provided with elements for supporting lids (20), the conveyor line (10) being arranged such as to transit internally of the tank (30) in order to immerse the lids (20) in the electrophoretic bath; and a unit (40) for establishing an electrical contact with the lids (20) transiting immersed in the bath, having an opposite polarity with respect to a polarity of the electrode immersed in the bath. The contact unit (40) includes a rotation element (4) which rotates about a longitudinal axis thereof, an external lateral surface (42) thereof affording a groove (5) having a helical progression destined to receive conductive electrical means such as to contact at least an end portion (21 ) of the lids (20). The arrangement of the rotation element (4) above the tank (30) and with respect to the conveyor line (10), is such that at least a point of the conductive electrical means maintains contact with the end portion (21 ) of the lids (20) during transit thereof immersed in the solution of the tank (30).
