Abstract

A peristaltic pump comprises: a support (20) for supporting a flexible tubing (30); a rotator (50) configured to rotate about a rotator axis (52), the rotator (50) having a central rotator member (82) and a peripheral rotator member (84) supporting a roller (40); and manual adjustment means (60) interconnecting the central rotator member (82) and the peripheral rotator member (84) to adjust the relative position of the roller (40) with respect to the tubing (30). The peripheral rotator member (84) comprises a flange (86) with an aperture, the central rotator member (82) comprises a threaded cylindrical body that is sized to extend through the aperture, and the manual adjustment means (60) comprises a stop (90) attached to the threaded cylindrical body and sized to not extend through the aperture, wherein the stop (90) abuts the flange (86) controlling movement of the peripheral rotator member (84) relative to the central rotator member (82).

Abstract

A brewing apparatus (2) comprising a primary vessel (4) and an outer tank (106) is provided. The primary vessel (4) comprises a primary vessel base (10), one or more primary vessel side walls (24) and at least one primary vessel liquid inlet / outlet means (14). The edges of the primary vessel side walls (24) remote from the primary vessel base (10) define a primary vessel mouth. The outer tank (106) surrounds the primary vessel side wall or walls (24) from adjacent the primary vessel base (10) to adjacent the primary vessel mouth.
