Abstract

Machine for filling bags, wherein the mouth of the first bag (S) is gripped on the larger, transverse sides by two parallel suction bars (9 and 9') that are subsequently moved along an upward path of progressive reciprocal separation, to raise and simultaneously open the bag and to bring its mouth underneath the feed mouth of filling means (14). When filling of the bag is complete, the two suction bars (9 and 9') are made to perform a movement of at least reciprocal approach and preferably also of rising up to be opportunely arranged above the product filling level, to close the bag's mouth, which has already been returned to the original gusseted shape by suitable means (33, 33'), to prepare it for sealing by the opposed heat-sealing bars (11 and 11'), after which the top of the bag is left free and the filled and sealed bag (S') offloaded, while its bottom heat-sealed portion (W) is separated by tearing it off from the mouth of the next bag below, which is placed in an area such that when said filled and closed bag (S') has been removed, the mouth of the new bag (S) can be gripped by said two said suction bars (9 and 9') that, with an opposite movement to the previous one, are returned to the cycle start position to grip the mouth of the new bag and repeat a new work cycle. Said heat-sealing bars, which apply the top heat seal (W) to seal the filled bag, can be advantageously associated with said two suction bars (9 and 9'), to exploit the work movements.

The invention concerns an apparatus for lightening of thin, flexible and shaped workpieces, such as panels or sheet metals, by removal machining of material from surfaces thereof, on a machining unit having a worktable and a counterthrust means designed to rest against a part of the surface of the workpiece opposed to the one on which said tool must work from time to time. The worktable (13) comprises supporting means (23) of the workpiece to be machined, and gripping means (28) designed to support the workpiece during its machining independently from said supporting means. The counterthrust means consist of a board (14) movable according to several axes and carrying a plurality of supporting elements (33). The supporting elements (33) can be individually translated or in groups between a draw-in position and an extended position to define a supporting plane depending on the shape of the surface of the workpiece against which the counterthrust means must rest. The invention further concerns a method for mapping the workpiece surface by means of the supporting elements.

Abstract

The compactor comprises a horizontal-axis conveying screw or spiral (2) which operates partly inside a loading hopper (1) and partly inside a stator body (201) situated laterally and on the outside of the said hopper. The bottom walls of the hopper which are situated at a short distance from the said spiral and the inner surface of said stator body (201) have longitudinal scoring (401) which, together with the direction of rotation of said spiral (2), has the effect that the waste to be compacted fed in loose form inside the hopper is conveyed by the said screw from the hopper to the stator body (201) which is for example flanged to a gear motor unit (3, 103), the output shaft (203) of which supports in projecting fashion the said screw (2). The said stator body (201) is provided laterally with a window (4) through which the waste conveyed by the spiral (2) is fed to the stator body (5) of a press (P, P1) which is oriented at right angles to the axis of the said feed spiral (2).

Abstract

The microwave sterilization chamber (10) is made in the shape of a downwardly open bell which can be sealed by a base structure (6, 19, 20) which carries means (5) for gripping and rotating the canister (1) filled with waste, which can be moved by suitable means from a low position for the filling and discharge of the canister (1) to a raised position for the closure of said chamber and for the insertion of the full canister (1) into the chamber, each canister being provided with means by which it can be removably supported by said means of gripping and rotating the sterilization chamber (10), and can be gripped by the manipulating means (SM) which transfer said canister between the different operating stations of the machine.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method characterized by the sequence of at least the following working steps: introducing an accumulated mass of waste (V) which has been suitably shredded into a plurality of composite, pressure-resistant, treatment chambers (1, 5, 7, 7') which are screened with respect to the exterior and provided with windows (8) which are arranged suitably staggered with respect to each other and distributed at least along the height of the said accumulated mass and are connected to respective waveguides linked up to magnetrons (9) and are such that the microwaves produced by the latter are forced to strike said waste (V); preparing each said composite chamber, for treatment of the associated accumulated mass of internal waste, with appropriate moisture, pressure and temperature values and with suitable cycle times, preferably with implementation of a prior step involving internal depressuhsation of this composite chamber, which is filled, closed and ready for the sterilisation cycle; activation of the magnetrons (9) of the said composite chamber and rotation of the associated accumulated mass of internal waste (V) in relation to the said magnetrons which remain in a static position, so to obtain the uniformly distributed sterilisation of the said accumulated mass of waste, also using low-power magnetrons; releasing the pressure and the vapours from the said composite chamber so as to be able to open it safely and discharge from said chamber the sterilised waste

Abstract

Screw press, with small dimensions, particularly suitable for the compaction of solid waste for disposal also using sorted-waste collection. The screw press comprises an initial large-diameter screw section with a wide-pitch helix, communicating laterally with the bottom opening of the loading hopper (1) in order to remove the material from the hopper and feed it to a following small-diameter screw section with a small-pitch helix, surrounded by an internally scored stator body. This produces the feeding and compaction of the material which also occurs in conjunction with the action of a constriction which acts on the discharge mouth of this latter screw section. A press of this type has the two screw sections (3, 4) which are separated and arranged parallel to each other and one above or around each other, so as to form overall a press which no longer has as its length the sum of the lengths of the two screw sections. Instead, it has a length corresponding to the length of the longer of the two screw sections. The two screw sections are operated at different speeds, with the second compacting screw section (4) rotating at a speed greater than that of the first feeder screw section.
