Abstract
A method for producing a nonaqueous composition for external use on the skin including a strongly hydrophilic amphiphilic solid active ingredient-surfactant complex dissolved or dispersed in an oil phase, the method including the steps of: dissolving a surfactant in an oil phase to obtain a surfactant solution; mixing the obtained surfactant solution with a strongly hydrophilic amphiphilic solid active ingredient to obtain a suspension; and allowing the obtained suspension to stand still to obtain a transparent composition. Unlike conventional methods for preparing S/O formulations, the strongly hydrophilic amphiphilic solid active ingredient can be solubilized in an oil phase without the process of emulsification and freeze drying.

A method for modelling age-related traits of a face, from a picture of the face is provided, wherein the age-related traits are either wrinkles or age spots, the method including: for each age-related trait of the face of the same nature, generating a vector including parameters of shape and appearance of the trait; and generating, from the generated vectors, a single representation vector modeling the age-related traits of the same nature in the face. The single representation vector stores information regarding the number of traits in the face and joint probabilities, over the face, of the shape and appearance features of the traits.
Disclosed is a method for analyzing facial features of a person, including the steps of: acquiring a picture of the face of the person; delimiting, on the picture, at least two zones of the face of the person; processing the picture to determine contrast values of each of the at least two zones; and based on the determined contrast values, determining a cluster to which the person pertains among a plurality of pre-established clusters, with the pre-established clusters being elaborated based on a set of contrast values determined for the same zones of the faces of a reference population in respective pictures of the faces; and providing the person with personalized information, wherein the personalized information depends on the cluster to which the person pertains.
The invention concerns a refill (2) intended to be inserted into a makeup case (1). The refill (2) comprises a vessel containing a liquid makeup, the vessel comprising a tank (6) comprising an open top face forming an opening for dispensing the makeup. The tank (6) is delimited by a side wall (18) in line with the opening and a bottom (22) of the tank. The refill (2) comprises an absorbent complex (7) in the tank (6). The vessel further comprises at least one additional volume (13) outside the tank (6), in fluid communication with the inside of said tank (6). This helps optimise the volume available for containing a liquid make-up, while allowing the latter to be effectively retained in the refill. The invention also concerns an assembly comprising a case (1) and such a refill (2).

The invention relates to a matte lipstick composition, comprising at least one structure-directing agent, at least one oil, at least one colouring agent, and at least one particular filler as a mattifying agent, characterised in that the particular filler serving as a mattifying agent is selected from among particles having a specific surface area of less than 30 m2/g, preferably less than 20 m2/g, more preferably still less than 10 m2/g, and advantageously less than 5 m2/g. The invention also relates to a lipstick comprising the lipstick composition, a method for producing said lipstick composition, and the use of a particular filler in order to mattify a lipstick composition without hardening same.
The subject matter of the invention is a solid cosmetic composition comprising at least one wax and/or one paste compound, at least one oil, and at least one anti-exudation filler, characterised in that the anti-exudation filler is chosen from particles having at least one surface asperity of variable geometry, the greatest length of which is between 10 nm and 1 μm, and having a specific surface area of less than 30 m2/g, preferably less than 20 m2/g, even more preferably less than 10 m2/g and even more preferably less than 5 m 2/g. The invention also relates to a method for applying make-up to the skin and/or the lips and/or skin appendages using the composition, and to the use of an anti-exudation filler to prevent the exudation of cosmetic compositions comprising at least one wax and/or one paste compound and at least one oil.
The present invention provides a nonaqueous composition for external use on the skin comprising a strongly hydrophilic amphiphilic solid active ingredient solubilized in an oil phase. [Solution] The present invention relates to a nonaqueous composition for external use on the skin comprising a strongly hydrophilic amphiphilic solid active ingredient- surfactant complex dissolved or dispersed as a particle having a particle size of 2 nm to 200 nm in an oil phase. A strongly hydrophilic amphiphilic solid active ingredient can be solubilized in an oil phase by: adding the strongly hydrophilic amphiphilic solid active ingredient to a water phase to obtain a water phase mixture; adding a surfactant to an oil phase to obtain an oil phase mixture; mixing the obtained water phase mixture with the oil phase mixture to obtain a water-in-oil emulsion; freeze-drying the obtained water-in-oil emulsion to obtain a strongly hydrophilic amphiphilic solid active ingredient-surfactant complex; and dissolving or dispersing the obtained strongly hydrophilic amphiphilic solid active ingredient- surfactant complex in an oil so that the strongly hydrophilic amphiphilic solid active ingredient-surfactant complex is dissolved or dispersed as a particle having a particle size of 2 nm to 200 nm in the oil phase.
