The present invention relates to an electrically operable height adjustable chair comprising a base, a seat, a lifting mechanism, a battery, and a controller to actuate the lifting mechanism. The seat is arranged above the base via the lifting mechanism, the controller is a user operated foot pedal in Bluetooth® communication with the lifting mechanism actuator, and the lifting mechanism is a telescopic lifting column.
