Abstract

The invention relates to a motif roll (1) for producing baked items, having a cylindrical basic body (2) and having at least one depression (4), which is formed on a lateral surface (3) of the basic body (2) and is intended for accommodating dough. The depression (4) is delimited by a motif floor element (5) and a side wall (6). The motif floor element (5) is arranged in the depression (4) such that it can be displaced in a radial direction, in relation to the basic body (2) of the motif roll (1), from a first volume position (8) into a second volume position (9), and it is therefore possible to change a volume of the depression (4). The invention also relates to a dough-forming machine (15) having a first dough-feeding apparatus (16) and having a motif roll (1) as described above. A first dough can be introduced into the depression (4) by means of the first dough-feeding apparatus (16). The dough-forming machine (15) additionally has at least one second dough-feeding apparatus (20), by means of which at least one second dough can be introduced into the depression (4).
