Abstract

The present invention relates to a door strike that comprises a box containing a latch, a locking mechanism for locking the latch, and an activation/deactivation mechanism for activating/deactivating the locking mechanism, wherein it is opened by pressure on the latch that is exerted from outside the door strike, the locking mechanism being deactivated. The invention is characterised in that the door strike comprises a knee lever system that in turn comprises a first arm and a second arm that are connected to one another in an articulated manner via an intermediate joint, wherein the first arm is connected to the latch in such a way that the opening pressure on the latch is transmitted to the first arm. The invention is further characterised in that the locking mechanism for locking the latch acts on the knee lever mechanism in a locked position in which the first arm and the second arm of the knee lever system form an angle of less than 180°, blocking the opening movement of the latch.
