Abstract
A lens for eyewear, the lens having a transmittance in a spectral range at least between 400 and 780 nm. The spectral range includes a first and a second color range which are different from each other. The first and second color ranges are each at least 50 nm broad. A first medium transmittance in the first range is higher than a second medium transmittance in the second range. A medium transmittance in the spectral range is above 35%. A maximum transmittance value in the spectral range is above 70%. The second medium transmittance is below 20%. A maximum value of transmittance within the second range is below 30%. The first medium transmittance is at least 15% higher than the second medium transmittance. Further, a method for providing a lens for eyewear for sports archery is provided. In particular, this may enhance visually targeting a sports archery target.

Abstract
The invention relates to a method of color-dyeing a lens for goggles and glasses (110), whereby said lens comprising a polycarbonate substrate (70-1), comprising the steps of: - providing (20, 30, 40, 50) a liquid mixture (50-3) of components comprising at least one dye (10-1, 10-2, 10-3) or pigment, suitable for color-dyeing polycarbonate and a dispersion medium (40-1), whereby said at least one dye (10-1, 10-2, 10-3) or pigment is dispersed as colloids in said dispersion medium (40-1); - immersing said polycarbonate substrate (70-1) into said mixture (50-3) such that said at least one dye (10-1, 10-2, 10-3) or pigment is impregnated into said polycarbonate substrate (70-1); and - withdrawing (90) said polycarbonate substrate (70-1) from said mixture (50-3). According to the invention the method is characterized in that said dispersion medium (40-1) comprising a solvent for dissolving said at least one dye (10-1, 10-2, 10-3) or pigment, whereby said solvent comprising at least one member selected from the group consisting of an organic alcohol, in particular an aromatic alcohol, in particular benzylic alcohol (10-4); a butyl acetate, and a methacrylate ester, in particular methyl methacrylate.

Abstract
The invention is directed to ski goggles having a frame with a frame back side directed toward the wearer's face during use. A frame front lies opposite the frame back side and a frame edge is directed laterally outward with an upper frame-edge portion. A goggle lens is supported by the frame and a retaining strap, during normal use, holds the ski goggles on the wearer's head. A spoiler can be releasably connected to the upper frame-edge portion.
