Abstract

A mousetrap with a trap housing (4) configured with an opening (5). The mousetrap has a cylindrical reservoir (10) configured with at least two chambers (6) having a first end oriented towards the centre of the cylindrical reservoir (10) and an opening (5) in the periphery of the cylindrical reservoir (10). The cylindrical reservoir (10) can rotate in the trap housing (4) by means of a drive (25). The mousetrap is provided with a trigger mechanism capable of generating a signal and thereby actuating one or more mechanical and/or electronic devices when it is triggered, and a removable lid (2) that can be arranged on the trap housing (4) to the effect that it covers one or more chambers (6) of the cylindrical reservoir (10). The mousetrap is provided with a control mechanism capable of actuating one or more mechanical and/or electronic devices when it receives a signal from the trigger mechanism. The cylindrical reservoir (10), control mechanism, trigger mechanism and trap housing (4) are adapted such that any one of the chambers' openings (6) may be arranged towards the opening (5) of the housing and hence enable that a mouse (100) is capable of passing through the opening (5) of the housing and into a chamber (6); and that the control mechanism actuates the drive (25) when it receives a signal from the trigger mechanism to the effect that it revolves the cylindrical reservoir (10) such that the opening (5) of the chamber (6) is caused to move away from the opening (5) in the trap housing (4), while the opening (5) of another chamber (6) is arranged towards the opening (5) of the trap (1) housing.

Abstract

A trap 1 has a frame 3, a striking bar 5 connected to the frame for killing a mouse or rat and a retaining bracket 7 attached to the striking bar, which is blocked in standby position by a blocking pawl 11 which can be released by an activating element 13. A spring 9 is present between the striking bar and the frame, which striking bar hits the frame after activation. The trap is provided with a first sensor 17 which determines whether the striking bar is present in the standby or activated position, and a second sensor 19 which determines whether a mouse is present between the frame and the striking bar or not. The trap can determine three situations with the two sensors: standby, tripped and tripped with a mouse in the trap. This allows the status of the trap to be properly monitored.

The invention relates to a trap (1) for animals, in particular rats or mice, adapted for arrangement at a surface, where the rats or mice move. The trap comprising a trap housing (3) and a first flange (4) and at least one further flange (5) configured for enabling the trap (1) to be optionally orientated in at least two positions. The flanges (4, 5) of the trap, span a volume which is delimited such as to define a passage (6) in which a rat or mouse may move. The trap housing comprises an inner passageway that a rat or mouse may run into. The inner passageway extends from the passage into the trap housing. The inner passageway and trap housing comprise trigger and killer mechanisms.

Abstract

A trap for exterminating pests, preferably rats in sewers, said trap comprising: a trap housing and a bait mechanism. The trap also has a trigger mechanism capable of detecting the presence of a rat and releasing a killer mechanism when the rat is within the total range of the killer mechanism; and a trapper mechanism capable of detaining an animal. The trap may also convey a killed animal from a first position, in which discharge of the killed animal will not entail that it is conveyed away by water running through the sewer, to a second position, in which discharge of the killed rat will entail that it is conveyed away by water running through the sewer.

Abstract

The invention relates to a device for detecting insects which comprises, as main elements, an inner chamber having a temperature higher than the exterior temperature, and a passive infrared sensor that emits an alarm signal when it detects a change of temperature in the inner chamber caused by the presence of an animal, for example, an insect. The device is therefore very useful for monitoring insects in a particular area and subsequently taking action to eradicate same.

Abstract

1. A trap for rodents, including in particular rats, said trap comprising: a housing; and a trapping chamber in which a passage extends from the side(s) of the housing. The trap further comprises two electric poles, of which the one electric pole is disposed outside the trapping chamber and a reservoir. The trap is moreover configured with a transport mechanism for the transport of the trapping chamber with rodent between a lower position in which the rodent is able to run into the trapping chamber and an upper position in which the trapping chamber is able to discharge a destroyed rodent into the reservoir. The trapping chamber and the electric poles comprise means to the effect that the electric poles can be caused to be situated close to each other within the trapping chamber.

Abstract

A rat trap (1) comprising a power supply (80) and means (3) for killing a rat and a first sensor adapted to detect the presence of a rat in the space within the reach of the killing means and where control means are arranged capable of receiving a signal from the first sensor, and being adapted for activating the killing means (3) to kill the rat when the presence of the rat is detected by the sensor according to the invention the trap further comprise a second sensor (85) for detecting light, and the control means is capable of receiving a signal from the second sensor (85) and being adapted for deactivating the killing means (3) or the first sensor for a period of time after the detection of light by the second sensor. Hereby it is possible to prevent accidents due to e.g. erroneous activation of the trap in case of ordinary localized work illumination, including e.g. also in daylight at ground level or in artificial work illumination at the bottom of a shaft.
