Abstract

The present invention relates to a system for guiding an object from a first level to a second lower level into a container. It is an object of the invention to provide a system (100), a method and a chute for transferring an object from a sorting line into a container without breaking the object. The system (100) comprises a container (30) and a chute (10), said chute having an upper end (17) with an inlet (13), a lower end (18) with an outlet, a sliding surface extending from the upper end to the lower end, said sliding surface being configured to guide the object (1) and side walls extending along the sliding surface (11) from the upper end to the lower end, wherein the upper end of the chute is configured to be arranged at the first level along a first axis and the container (30) is configured to be arranged at the lower end of the chute (10) for receiving the object (1), wherein said chute and/or container is configured to pivot around an axis being substantially parallel to the first axis, and wherein said system (100) comprises one or more holding means (16) for holding the chute (10) and/or the container (30) in an angled position relative to the other.

A reverse vending system for a batch registration of used beverage containers comprises an inlet for loading said batch, and a feeding unit comprising at least one rotating disc, for transferring said used containers to a conveyor for delivery to a recording unit for registration, validation and classification of the containers. Abstract

A glass crusher (1) for the crushing of glass objects, such as recycled bottles (1A), has a housing with a compartment, wherein a plurality of rotating impact members (2) are rotatably mounted on a horizontal shaft, which is driven by a motor (4). A plurality of stationary plate parts (3) are arranged between the rotating impact members (2), so that when a recycled bottle (1A) is conveyed into the compartment and is placed on the stationary plate parts, the recycled bottle will be crushed by the rotating impact members, and the crushed material will be conveyed down into a container (11A). The motor (4) is given a preset speed of rotation, and in the event that the speed is reduced, e.g. if a hard object cannot be crushed, the motor will stop and then reverse its direction of rotation, which means that the hard object will be moved back and further down into another container (11). The invention provides a glass crusher which is capable of crushing re- cycled bottles at a great speed, and thus there is no risk that the non- crushable objects will cause breakdown of the glass crusher.

Abstract

In a system for sorting packages (17), such as cans and bottles, the packages are transferred from a sack or the like to a tiltable unloading container (1), where the packages are supplied to a funnel (3) with an inclined conveyor belt (4) having a plurality of carriers (5, 6) between which the packages may be placed singly. The packages are moved from the funnel (3) up the inclined conveyor (4), and from there to a horizontal conveyor (11 , 13) having five sections (8, 9, 10, 11 , 12), it being possible to adjust the speed of some of the sections. The packages are guided from the 3rd section of the horizontal conveyor into and through a recording unit (13) by a translatory movement, where a plurality of cameras (15, 16) record characteristics of the individual package for use in the sorting, recording, compaction and the like. The invention provides a system in which sorting of cans and bottles may take place at a greater speed than before.
