Abstract

The invention relates to a roof tile (1) comprising a tile surface (2) having an upper and a lower tile side, being delimited in the top view by an upper and lower wide side edge (3, 4) and a left and right longitudinal side edge (5, 6) and at least one lateral interlocking joint (7) adjacent to the tile surface (2) in the region of a longitudinal side edge (5, 6) and one depression (8) with a depth (18) in the region of the tile surface (2). The surface area of the depression (8) occupies 50% to 85% of the tile surface (2) on the upper side of the tile.
