The device (1) for well operations including a tower (2) with an outside (22) and an inside (25), the tower (2) being provided, on its outside (25) with a work platform (3) vertically movable in the position of use and a vertically movable equipment platform (4) which is independently movable relative to the work platform (3), and the work platform (3) being provided with a hanger device (36). Also, a method of using the device (1) is described.
