Abstract

The present disclosure provides a cleaning device for cleaning surfaces, typically planar surfaces. The cleaning device includes two functioning elements, a mopping element for allowing mopping the surface with a mop and a wiper element for wiping the surface, typically wiping a portion of the surface that have been mopped by the mop of the mopping element to complete the cleaning process. The cleaning device is designed that one of the elements is further formed with a head unit that is configured to receive an end of a handle, e.g. a rod and the other element is capable of rotating about an axis to allow efficient cleaning process by the device at different portions of the surface in different distances from the subject using the device. Typically, the head unit is formed on the wiper element, the mopping element is capable of rotating about a central axis thereof and the two elements are integrally coupled to one another, e.g. by gluing intended coupling portions of the two elements to one another.

Abstract

The present disclosure provides a cleaning device/tool for facilitating easier wiping manipulation over a surface to be wiped. The cleaning device can be used for wiping horizontal surfaces, such as floors, and vertical surfaces, such as windows. The cleaning device of the present disclosure comprises a wiping portion with a wiping edge that is intended to engage with a surface to be wiped. The cleaning device further comprising a surface-engaging element that is fixedly coupled to the wiping portion, namely the surface-engaging element and the wiping portion are two parts of a common structure and maintain in a constant relation between them. The cleaning device further comprising a head unit that comprises a handle receptacle for receiving an end of a handle thereto, the handle receptacle is rotatable about at least one axis. The combination of the wiping portion, the surface -engaging element and the head unit on a single structure allows to form a very efficient wiper that facilitates to perform continuous wiping movements with minimum effort and with minimum experience. Furthermore, this unique structure ensures that there is a distribution of the pressure applied on the surface between the wiper element and the surface-engaging element that allows smooth movement of the cleaning device over the surface.

Abstract

The present disclosure discloses a window cleaning device. The device is constituted by two cleaning units, each is configured to be attached to a different side of the window due to attraction force of the other cleaning unit. The attraction force is applied by magnetic members that are embedded in each of the cleaning units and each of them is configured to be magnetically coupled with at least one magnetic member of the other unit. Once the cleaning units are attached to the window, the window is engaged either by integral wipers of the cleaning unit and/or cleaning cloths attachable to the cleaning units to perform the cleaning process by the device. The cleaning units are each a single-piece molded article made of rubber, silicone rubber, elastomeric material or a thermosetting material, namely a relatively soft material, softer than the plastic material forming the known window cleaning devices.

The present disclosure discloses a window cleaning device for cleaning a window. The device is constituted by two cleaning units, each is configured to be attached to a different side of the window due to attraction force of the other cleaning unit, from the other side of the window. The cleaning units are each a single-piece molded article made of rubber, silicone rubber, elastomeric material or a thermosetting material, namely a relatively soft material, softer than the plastic material forming the known window cleaning devices. This results in a window cleaning device having a less destructive potential for the window compared to plastic-based device that can cause scratches and other damages to the window during the cleaning process or can damage the window during the attachment of the device to two sides of the window.
