Abstract

The present invention relates to a sealing system with an O-ring arranged in a compressed-air pressurized groove that provides for explosion proof sealing in explosion proof devices or devices resistant to explosion related pressure surges. In the sealing system in the explosion proof devices of the invention, an O-ring (3) is arranged in a rectangular groove of a top flange (1 ) and abuts upon a bottom flange (2), wherein the pressure of the O-ring (3) against the bottom flange (2) is provided for by a supply of compressed air pressure through a connection (4), when the pressure in a container abruptly increases, the pressure presses the O-ring (3) towards the external edge of the groove and penetrates past the internal edge above the O-ring (3), thus yet additionally pressing the O- ring (3) against the external edge and additionally sealing the joint.

Abstract

The object of the invention is a floating split butterfly valve that allows connection of two processing devices or containers in a way that one of the devices (e. g. a transport device or a container) is closed by one half of the valve (passive part) while the other device (e. g. a stable device or a container) is closed by another half of the valve (active part), wherein the material (powder and/or liquid substance) transferred from one device/container into another device/container cannot get trapped in dead corners of the valve and does not get accumulated in the equipment. The construction of the floating split butterfly valve of the invention provides for the fact that due to the arrangement of shafts (5, 5a) of split flaps (2, 2a) in a housing of an active and a passive part of the valve via displaceable (floating) hinges (3, 3a), seals (1, 1a) of the active and passive parts of the valve are flush with the level of the split flaps (2, 2a) on the active and passive parts, when the valve is in a closed position, while the seals (1, 1a), while in an opened position, are arranged by a distance X higher than valve housings (4, 4a) and the flaps (2, 2a) and the seals (1, 1a) remain on the same level due to clearance S1=X.

Abstract

The object of the invention is a horizontal paddle dryer that is used for normal or vacuum drying of soaked substances that are in the form of dry powder mixtures or granulates in a manufacturing process and are soaked and mixed (normally with solvents) due to technological needs. Once drying is completed, the interior of the dryer needs to be washed due to various types of substances that differ from each other in content and properties. The construction of the horizontal paddle dryer of the invention allows simple and effective washing of the horizontal paddle dryer without an additional removal of washing heads during the washing of the dryer. The horizontal paddle dryer of the invention has a specially shaped interior wall (1) of the drum (2) that passes on the upper part through two surfaces (1a, 1b) that extend tangentially to the interior wall (1) into a horizontal final surface (1c) of the internal wall (1), such that a slightly concave part is created in the interior of the drum (2) in the wall (1), in which concave part retractable washing heads (3) are arranged that do not hinder functioning of the rotor (4) with paddles (5) either during drying or during washing.

Abstract

The subject of the invention is a new construction of a processing chamber with a gas distribution panel intended for use in improved processing devices for the treatment of solid particles in a fluidised layer and refers to a construction solution to the essential element of the device for drying, granulation and coating, i. e. a processing chamber with a gas distribution panel, which improves the quality of these processes. The invention describes a construction of a processing chamber with a distribution panel (4), a constituent part of which is connected with a lifting mechanism. This mechanism allows lifting of the upper assembly (7) in relation to the bottom assembly (11) of the distribution panel (4) and thus increases the vertical distance between the upper assembly (7) and the bottom assembly (11) of the distribution panel (4). This contributes to easier washing of the chamber and also gravitation linked emptying of the product from the chamber through the distribution panel is rendered possible.

Abstract

The subject of the invention is a gas distribution plate, intended for use in an improved process device for treating solid particles in a fluidised bed, which falls within the field of chemical and pharmaceutical technology. It represents an improvement on the process equipment for treating solid particles by spraying from above, below or from the side and works on the principle of technology with a controlled circular movement of material in the processing chamber. The distribution plate (3) is composed of several upper plates (7) and lower plates (6) whose floor plan surfaces are ring shaped, for which each upper plate (7) concentrically overlaps part of one or two lower plates (6). Between the upper plates (7) and lower plates (6), barriers (13a, 13b) are placed for directing the flow of the media 9, in such a way, that theses barriers (13a, 13b) together with the plates (6) and plates (7) create numerous openings (16) intended for the passage of the media (9).
