Abstract

A watching monitoring apparatus includes a monitoring camera and a home server, and monitors a watching space in which a watched person exists. The monitoring camera images the watching space. The home server includes a person detector that detects a person from a captured image, and classifies the detected person into a face part and a body part, a processing-drawing part that performs a processing-drawing process with respect to the body part except for the face part, an image synthesizer that creates a synthesized image of an image subjected to the processing-drawing process and the captured image, and a network part through which the synthesized image is transmitted to a display terminal of a watching person. When the detected person has not been registered in face information registration data in which face information of the watched person is registered, the processing-drawing process is not performed with respect to the person.

Abstract

When storing captured image data in an information server, a mobile information terminal transmits related information (date and time information, location information, direction angle information, information of a distance to a subject, and user identification information) at the time of imaging to the information server. In addition, when making a request for the image data stored in the information server, current terminal information and image search conditions describing image data replay conditions are transmitted to the information server. The information server searches for corresponding image data based on the current terminal information and the image search conditions and transmits the corresponding image data to the mobile information terminal. The mobile information terminal displays the received image data on the display unit as a related image. Therefore, a user can effectively recall the memories, such as a situation or impression at the time of imaging.

Abstract

An image display apparatus includes a camera, a distance measurement sensor, an illuminance sensor, a brightness/darkness determinator, an image generator, an image storage, an image retriever, a visual image decider, and a display. The camera captures an image of a real object in front of a user to obtain a camera image. The image generator generates a distance image which corresponds to the camera image and represents a distance to each position of the real object based on data of the distance measurement sensor. The brightness/darkness determinator determines whether a place in which the user is present is a bright place or a dark place based on data of the illuminance sensor. The image storage stores the camera image and the distance image obtained in the bright place as a set.

Abstract

The present invention provides an image pickup device that recognizes the object that the user is attempting to capture as the subject, tracks the movement of that subject, and can continue tracking the movement of the subject even when the subject leaves the capturing area so that the subject can always be reliably brought into focus. The image pickup device includes a main camera that captures the subject; an EVF that displays the captured image captured by the main camera, a sub-camera that captures the subject using a wider capturing region than the main camera, and a processing unit that extracts the subject from the captured images captured by the main camera and the sub-camera, tracks the extracted subject, and brings the subject into focus when an image of the subject is actually captured. When the subject moves outside of a capturing region of the main camera, the processing unit tracks the subject extracted from the captured image captured by the sub-camera.

Abstract

A head up display superimposes a virtual image on an actual view in accordance with a traveling status of a vehicle. Vehicle information containing a lean of the vehicle in a pitch direction is detected by a first posture sensor, and a lean in a roll direction is detected by a second posture sensor. A controller controls display of video on the basis of the vehicle information. A mirror reflects the video to project the video to a windshield or combiner. A mirror driver changes an angle and/or a position of the mirror. At least one of a display state of the virtual image in a display area for the video or the angle and/or the position of the mirror via the mirror driver is adjusted by the controller on the basis of the lean in the pitch direction and/or the lean in the roll direction.

Abstract

A portable terminal device in an information processing system and method includes a camera and a microphone. Data of obtained images and voice are transmitted to a server that identifies operations to be executed based on the received voice and image data. The server transmits an identification of one or more results of the plurality of operations to the portable terminal device. When the portable terminal device receives only one result from the server, an operation corresponding to the one result is executed, and when a plurality of results is received, the portable terminal device displays information corresponding to the plurality of results as candidates. Additional voice is captured for selecting one of the plurality of results during the displaying of the information. A determination of one result from the plurality of results is made based on the captured voice, and an operation corresponding to the determined result is executed.

Abstract

The electrode for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery of the present invention has a molded body of an electrode composition containing at least particles of an electrode active material, a solid electrolyte, and particles of a conductive assistant. The volume-based particle size distribution of the particles of the electrode active material has two distributions: that is, a distribution of small particles with a diameter D1 at the maximum frequency, and another distribution of large particles with a diameter D2 at the maximum frequency. The volume fraction of the large particles is larger than the volume fraction of the small particles. The mode diameters D3 of the particles of the conductive assistant obtained from the cross section and D2 are D3≤D2. The average distance of the gravity centers between adjacent particles of the conductive assistant has a relationship of L≤D2.

Abstract

An information terminal apparatus is capable of realizing position recognition sharing among terminals even where there is no suitable real object that becomes an anchor in a real space. An information terminal apparatus to be carried or worn by a user has a function of displaying an image and is configured to execute sharing of position recognition with another terminal in a real space. Sharing of the position information is executed by conversion between coordinate systems (WA) and (WB) of the terminals by using data containing specific direction information (NA, NB) in the real space of the own terminal and the other terminal and terminal position information (dA, dB, PBA, PAB) that is information regarding positions in the real space as data containing a relationship of relative orientation between the coordinate systems of the terminals and information regarding a relative positional relationship between origins of the coordinate systems.

Abstract

A head up display apparatus capable of suppressing discomfort to a user caused by an operating noise while preventing damage by sunlight is provided. Further, it contributes to “Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages” in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Thus, a video light projector 6 includes a drive mechanism 14 and projects video light emitted from a video display 11 to a display region 8, thereby making the projected video light visually recognized as a virtual image. A controller judges whether or not a door unlock signal which is one of information related to a transportation is received, and judges whether or not to cause the video display 11 to start displaying the video by operating the drive mechanism 14 in the video light projector 6 based on a display start condition when the door unlock signal is received.

Abstract

This wireless tag search assistance method includes: a wireless tag; and a portable terminal that receives a radio wave emitted by the wireless tag. When the remaining battery amount of the wireless tag becomes equal to or less than a predetermined warning residual amount, the wireless tag transmits a battery exhaustion notification signal, and the portable terminal receives the signal. On the basis of the battery exhaustion notification signal, the portable terminal calculates the relative orientation of a transmission source of the battery exhaustion notification signal based on an observation point at which the battery exhaustion notification signal is received, and generates tag orientation information including terminal position information and the relative orientation at the observation point. When conducting a search after the wireless tag battery is exhausted, the portable terminal acquires terminal position information at a search point, and displays navigation information to the transmission source on the basis of the terminal position information and the tag orientation information.
