Abstract

Disclosed herein are improvements to a user interface for building recipes for batch processing. In one embodiment, when a user hovers over phase, the user interface provides a mechanism for the user to either add or edit a transition. If the user hovers over a transition, the user is provided with a mechanism for adding a step. In another embodiment, a user can add comments that are linked to a phase. The user can then either retrieve the comment for a phase, or a phase linked to a comment. In yet another embodiment, the user can add an automated deferment to another level.

Provided is a container having a container body, a bail attached to the container body, and a flexible band attached to a rear of the container body. The flexible band has a first end attached to the rear of the container proximate a top of the rear and a second end attached to the rear of the container body proximate a bottom of the rear. The flexible band is movable between a first position spaced a first distance from the rear, a second position spaced a second distance from the rear less than the first distance to allow the container body and the bail to be grasped at the rear without interference by the flexible band, and a third position spaced a third distance from the rear greater than the first distance to provide space for a user's hand between the rear of the container body and the flexible band.

Abstract

The present disclosure provides processes and systems for generating a coated article having a virtual embossing effect. A process comprises applying a wet layer of a coating composition on a substrate, the composition comprising a curable resin and a plurality of flake-form pigments; forming a pattern of the pigments in the wet layer; and curing the wet layer thereby forming a cured layer, wherein the formed pattern of the pigments is capable of remaining substantially unchanged after curing and results in a virtually embossed effect of the cured layer. A coating system comprises a substrate; a coating composition comprising a curable resin and a plurality of flake-forming pigments; means for applying a wet layer of the composition onto the substrate; means for forming a pattern of the pigments in the wet layer; and means for curing the wet layer to form a substantially cured layer. The cured article derived from the processes and systems preferably may have a substantially even surface.

Abstract

A two-part polyurethane system is provided. The system includes a resin and a crosslinker component. The resin has units obtained from a polyol and a polyisocyanate. The polyol has free carboxyl groups and from 0.5% to 3% by weight of free hydroxyl groups. The polyisocyanate has ‑NCO groups reactive with the free hydroxyl groups of the polyol in amounts to provide a molar ratio of -NCO/-OH of from 0.1 to 0.3 such that the resin thus formed contains minimal free hydroxy groups and sufficient free carboxyl groups to provide an acidity from 5-50 KOH/g. The crosslinker component includes a carbodiimide compound, polyaziridine compound, or a combination thereof. The crosslinker component is configured to react with the free carboxyl groups of the resin to form a cured polyurethane coating.
