Abstract

Provided is a game system capable of reducing the time and effort necessary to make musical score data available for play. A game distribution system (10) provides a music video game by combining musical score data (QD) describing an execution timing at which each play action is to be executed and music data (MD1) for playing music for play. From among a plurality of musical score data (QD) that function as candidates at a musical score selection opportunity for selecting the musical score data (QD) for play, the game distribution system (10) applies a predetermined algorithm to personal musical score data (QD) serving as musical score data (QD) created by a user and thereby determines difficulty level information that becomes an index for selecting the personal musical score data (QD). The game distribution system (10) then provides the user with the determined difficulty level information so as to be associated with the personal musical score data (QD) at the musical score selection opportunity.

Abstract

Provided is a game machine capable of providing guidance so that, at an appropriate timing, the player performs the action of changing from a contacting state in which he/she is contacting a predetermined region to a non-contacting state in which such contact is not performed. The game machine provides a dance game for providing guidance about the performance timing of a dance step, and evaluating the actual step performance timing. The game machine comprises a stage sensor that detects a contacting state in which a foot of a player is contacting a treading surface of the stage, and detects a non-contacting state where such contact is not performed. The game machine also provides guidance about the time of a foot-lifting action as the step performance timing, and evaluates the time as the actual step performance timing, so that a foot-lifting action changing functions as the dance step.

Abstract

The present invention provides a game machine that is capable of utilizing at least a part of the movement of a player's body as a move in a game. A game machine (3) provides a dance game that advises of an execution timing at which a move constituting a dance is to be executed, and, when the move is actually executed, assesses the actual execution timing of the move on the basis of the advised execution timing. In addition, the game machine (3) is provided with a camera (17) which detects either a stooping movement that causes the head of each player (PL) to move lower than an upward lower-limit position (DR) or a return movement that causes the head to move higher than an upward upper-limit position (UR). The game machine advises of a timing at which such stooping movement or the like is to be executed so as to enable such stooping move or the like to function as a move constituting the dance, and, in the case when such stooping movement or the like is detected through the camera (17), assesses the actual timing at which such movement was executed.

Abstract

Provided is a game device capable of guiding in a manner such that a player executes the action of changing at an appropriate time from a contact state of contacting a prescribed region to a non-contact state of not contacting said region. The game device (3) provides a dance game for providing guidance about the execution time at which a dance step should be executed, and when the step is actually executed, evaluating the actual step execution time on the basis of the guided execution time. In addition, the game device (3) comprises a stage sensor (14) for detecting a contact state in which a foot of a player (PL) is contacting a stepping surface (11a) of the stage (11), and detecting a non-contact state where no contact is being made. The game device (3) also provides guidance about the time at which a leg-lifting action should be executed as the step execution time, and evaluates the time when the action is actually executed as the actual step execution time, with the leg-lifting action in which the player (PL) changes from the contact state to the non-contact state functioning as the dance step.
