Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a method for protecting operators controlling a glass forming machine (1), the method comprising: setting in an operational state (OP) a first optical barrier (B2, BS1-BS6) and a second optical barrier (B1) arranged in front of a part (2, S1-S6) to be protected of the glass forming machine (1), the first optical barrier being disposed between the part to be protected and the second optical barrier; triggering a first alert state when the first optical barrier is in the operational state and detects an object, the first alert state comprising stopping the part to be protected, and triggering a second alert state in which an alert signal is emitted when the second optical barrier (B1) is in the operational state and detects an object, the glass forming machine remaining active in the second alert state.

The present invention relates to an automated method for detecting (32) glass-ceramic-type materials in cullet, characterised in that it comprises the following steps: a step of detecting the glass-ceramic material (33) in cullet (2), during which step fragments thought to be glass-ceramic material are identified in the cullet; a step of obtaining a digital image resulting from the preceding step of detecting the glass-ceramic material, the image particularly comprising at least one group of pixels corresponding to a fragment thought to be glass-ceramic material; a step of colorimetrically processing the image (34), during which step at least the group of pixels of the image corresponding to fragments thought to be glass-ceramic material is processed by a colorimetric image-processing module according to an RGB model (7).
