Abstract
A training magazine has a body configured to be removably received in the magazine well, a motor connected to the body and having a rotating shaft, an actuator operably engaged to the reciprocating action element, and operable to reciprocate the reciprocating action element, a linkage interconnecting the motor to the actuator, the linkage including a rotor operably connected to the rotating shaft and operable to rotate in response to rotation of the rotating shaft, and a link connected to the body and operably connected to reciprocate in response to rotation of the rotor to generate reciprocation of the actuator. The link is pivotally connected to the body at a first portion comprising a first end and a second portion is a second end opposite the first end. The rotor may operably engage the link at an intermediate position between the first and second ends.

Abstract
A training magazine has a body configured to be removably received in the magazine well, a motor connected to the body and operable to generate a motive force, an energy storage element operably connected to the motor and configured to store potential energy generated by the motive force, and an actuator operably engaged to the energy storage element and to the reciprocating action element, and operable to transmit the potential energy to reciprocate the action element. The reciprocating element may be a pistol slide. The energy storage element may be a spring. The spring may be a torsion coil spring having a cylindrical shape with opposed circular ends. There may be an input rotor operably connected to the motor and to a first end of the spring. There may be an output rotor connected to an output end of the spring and to the actuator.

Abstract
An archery bow facility for launching an arrow includes a flexible bow and a bow string connected to the bow. A sensor connected to the bow is operable to generate a datastream based on a condition of the bow. A processor and display in communication with the sensor is operable to receive the datastream and to determine a first bow position at a moment of initiation of release when the bowstring is released by a user. The processor, based on the datastream, then operates to determine a second bow position at a moment of conclusion of release when the arrow departs the bowstring. The processor may operate in conjunction with the display to communicate to a user information about the difference between the first and second positions. The first and second position may be first and second angular orientations, and the sensor is preferably a multi-axis accelerometer.

Abstract
A firearm training system includes a firearm, a sensor, a data processor, and a display. The sensor measures and records the motion of the firearm before, during, and after the firearm is shot. In some embodiments, the sensor is located on the firearm. The sensor communicates with the data processor. In some instances this communication is conducted wirelessly. Data regarding the movement of the firearm is analyzed via the data processor and trends are determined. These trends are then correlated with shooting technique deficiencies which can be communicated to a user via the display. In some embodiments, the data processor and display are a single computing device, such as a tablet, smartphone, or laptop.
