Abstract
The invention relates to a device for applying a liquor onto a textile material web (1), comprising a first application roller (2) for applying the liquor onto the material web (1) on one side, a first sensor (7) for determining the water content of the untreated material web (1), a second sensor (7) for determining the water content of the material web (1) after the application of the liquor, and a control device (9) for controlling the quantity of liquor applied onto the material web (1). Signals of the first and the second sensor (7) can be introduced into the control device (9) for the control process. The device is to allow a very precise application of liquor with finishing agents onto the material web (1). This is achieved in that a first camera (8) for determining a draw of the material web (1) is arranged in front of the application roller (2), wherein signals of the camera (8) can be introduced into the control device (9) in addition to the signals of the sensors (7). The invention further relates to a corresponding method.

APPARATUS FOR THE HEAT TREATMENT OF A WEB OF TEXTILE MATERIAL

Baum, Gottfried
Abstract
The invention relates to an apparatus for the heat treatment of a web of textile material (3) comprising a housing (6), means for guiding the web of material (3) in the housing (6), means for blowing heated treatment gas (5) onto the web of material (3), at least part of the treatment gas being supplied as fresh air and exhaust gas being carried away, and a heat wheel (7) for preheating the fresh air by means of the exhaust gas. It is intended to improve the apparatus in such a way as to create lines for indirectly preheating fresh air by means of exhaust air without any significant additional expenditure and without the height of the apparatus being any greater, or significantly greater, than in the case of apparatuses without preheating. This is achieved by the heat wheel (7) being connected directly to warm sides of the ducts (9, 10) for the fresh air and for the exhaust air, the warm sides of the ducts (9, 10) being routed exclusively inside the housing (6).

Abstract
A hot flue is described having two rows, which are positioned vertically above one another, of material-web guide rolls which are arranged horizontally and parallel to one another in in each case one roll table, with the aid of which hot flue a textile material web can be delivered and discharged spread out in a ribbon-like manner. A hot flue is to make it possible to dry and/or to fix a textile material web without creasing and with as high a production speed as possible. In order to provide a machine which can be used universally and which ensures as high a production speed as possible and, at the same time, a crease-free passage even in the case of a fabric which has an extreme tendency to crease, it is proposed to make the spacing variable of the roll rows which lie vertically above one another. In the case of a relatively small roll spacing, a very sensitive fabric is then also guided though the machine without creasing, at the expense of the drying performance.

Abstract
A device is disclosed for relative colour measurement of a moving material web using a multirange colour sensor for determining and comparing colour degradation of zones which extend parallel to the material web length. In order to exclude ageing effects of the lighting necessarily required for colour measurement, as well as errors due to the ambient light and parasitic effects caused by different temperatures and mechanical errors, a colour sensor (17) is provided having a plurality of measurement points (11 to 13) which are moved together transversely to the length of the material web and have a common light source (22).

Abstract
The invention describes a tube heat exchanger for heating fresh air by means of heated discharge air. The discharge air is to be conducted through a plurality of tubes of a tube bundle, and the fresh air is to be conducted around the outside of the tubes through a supply air duct which accommodates the tube bundle. In order to facilitate cleaning of the tubes and of the space around the tubes, according to the invention, the tubes of the tube bundle are inserted in a detachable fashion with their longitudinal ends into holes of in each case one perforated plate, which perforated plates form wall parts of a space which is closed off with the exception of a supply air inlet and a supply air outlet.

Abstract
The invention relates to a continuous transport chain (1) of a fabric stenter (2). Said chain comprises a working chamber (3) which is arranged between two chain wheels (4, 5) for a length of fabric. It is supported by rollers (12) on the machine frame in order to receive the tension exerted upon the respective tensed length of fabric. The rollers (12) are mounted in a fixed manner on the machine frame in the region of the working chamber such that they form a roller conveyor which is used to unwind the chain element in the respective area, wherein the tension of the length of fabric acts upon the chain element in order to reduce the number of rollers (12) required for the transport chain and/or in order to simplify lubrication thereof.

Abstract
An apparatus is described for drying and simultaneously shrinking a textile material web (l) which is moved in a web transport direction (2), having blowing means (4) which are arranged along its web transport path (3) for generating a wave-like web basic movement (6) which runs through the web (l) and has a predefined wave frequency range. In order to ensure that the apparatus at the same time supplies a tumble effect which is comparable with that of a discontinuously operating tumbler, a shoving movement is superimposed on the wave-like web basic movement (6) by means of additional shoving means (13), the shoving frequency of said shoving movement being great with respect to the wave frequency of the web basic movement (6).
