Abstract
The invention relates to a method for the free-radical polymerisation of a composition that is polymerizable under a given radiation and that comprises a monomer including at least one double carbon-carbon bond as well as an aldehyde as the sole primer system. The method comprises: the step of oxidising the aldehyde under the action of said radiation in the presence of oxygen in order to form a hydroperoxyde, the step of decomposing said hydroperoxyde under the action of said radiation in order to form at least one radical capable of priming the polymerisation of said monomer including at least one double carbon-carbon bond, and the step of polymerising said monomer.
