Abstract

A method for controlling an artificial intelligence (AI) device can include obtaining a pre-trained AI model configured to generate embeddings from input data, receiving unlabeled target data from a target domain different than a source domain used to train the pre-trained AI model, determining first parameter updates for the pre-trained AI model by performing a self-supervised adaptation process based on a correlation between a first input sample and an augmented version of the first input sample, and generating an updated AI model based on the first parameter updates. Also, the method can further include determining second parameter updates by performing a pair-wise adaptation process based on adjusting embedding representations of a pair of input samples based on a threshold to correspond to a same identity, and generating a final adapted AI model based on the second parameter updates, the final adapted AI model being adapted to the target domain.

Abstract

Disclosed is a knob assembly (100) for a cooking apparatus, featuring a knob body (NB) that rotates on and moves axially along a driving shaft (71) protruding from a control panel (30). A coupling part (150), connected to the driving shaft (71), is axially movable independently of the knob body (NB). The knob body (NB) includes an exposed operating button (140) that moves independently in a direction different from the axial direction. This operating button (140) has a first position allowing axial movement without interfering with the coupling part (150), and a second position that creates interference with the coupling part (150) during axial movement. Consequently, a user must first press the operating button (140) to enable axial pressing of the coupling part (150) and driving shaft (71) for operating the cooking apparatus, thereby preventing unintended operation or errors.

Abstract

Disclosed is a knob assembly and a cooking apparatus having it. The knob assembly includes a base portion (110) on a control panel (30) and a driving shaft (71) protruding from it. A knob body (NB) rotates on and linearly moves along the driving shaft (71). The knob body (NB) features an operating button (140) with an exposed operating portion (143) that moves independently of the knob body (NB) in a direction different from the axial direction. The operating button (140) has a first position interfering with the base portion (110), restricting knob body (NB) rotation, and a second position, moved away from the first in a non-axial direction, allowing knob body (NB) rotation. Consequently, the cooking apparatus is operated by rotating the knob body (NB) only after the user presses the operating button (140), preventing unintended operation or errors of the knob assembly.

Abstract

Disclosed are a signal processing device and an image display apparatus including the same. The signal processing device of an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a quality calculator configured to calculate a source quality of an image signal received from an external settop box or a network; an image quality setter configured to set an image quality of the image signal based on the calculated source quality; and an image quality processor configured to perform image quality processing on the image signal based on the set image quality, wherein in response to the source quality of the received image signal being changed at a first time point, the image quality setter changes an image quality setting sequentially from a first setting to a second setting; and based on the image quality setting, the image quality processor performs image quality processing. Accordingly, flicker may be reduced when an image quality is changed due to a change in the source quality of the received image signal.

A method for decoding a video signal according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes obtaining a sub-block transform (SBT) flag indicating whether an SBT is applied, wherein the SBT represents a transform applied to one of sub-blocks split from a coding unit, determining a transform unit from the coding unit based on the SBT flag, determining a size value of the transform unit as a first reference value if DST-7 (Discrete Sine Transform type 7) or DCT-8 (Discrete Cosine Transform type 8) is applied and the size value of the transform unit is greater than the first reference value and less than a third reference value and determining the size value as a second reference value if DCT-2 (Discrete Cosine Transform type 2) is applied and the size value is equal to or greater than the third reference value, wherein the third reference value is greater than the second reference value and the second reference value is greater than the first reference value, obtaining transform coefficients based on the size value, and performing an inverse transform on the transform coefficients. A data processing time and the amount of data necessary for a transform can be reduced by performing coding in consideration of a region reduced according to a block size.

Abstract

A scroll compressor is provided. The scroll compressor comprises a main frame provided between a first compression unit and a second compression unit, and the main frame may comprise at least one back pressure communication unit communicating between a first back pressure chamber and a second back pressure chamber. Accordingly, even if the back pressure of the first back pressure chamber and/or the second back pressure chamber rises above a set pressure when the compressor is started, the pressure in a back pressure chamber with a relatively high back pressure is transferred to a back pressure chamber with a relatively low back pressure, thereby enabling both back pressure chambers to quickly recover an appropriate level of back pressure while suppressing friction loss and dissipation in the compression unit, and at the same time suppressing leakage between compression chambers to increase compression efficiency.

Abstract

Proposed are a method and device for providing information about a time point at which transmission of DL data in a queue of a serving AP MLD ends in a wireless LAN system. Specifically, a non-AP STA belonging to a non-AP MLD transmits a roaming request frame to a first AP belonging to a first AP MLD. The non-AP STA receives a roaming response frame from the first AP. The non-AP STA determines whether to transition from the first AP MLD to a second AP MLD on the basis of the roaming response frame.
