Abstract

Provided is a marking device 1 for an edible body, comprising a conveyance device 20, a printing unit 220, a height detection unit 50, a recovery unit 60, and a control unit 70. The printing unit 220 is supported so that an inkjet head 221 for performing printing on an edible body for each row in the width direction of the conveyance device 20 can advance and retreat in a contact/separation direction with respect to the conveyance surface. The height detection unit 50 detects the presence/absence of an edible body whose protruding height exceeds a predetermined value for each row in the width direction of the conveyance device 20. The control unit 70 performs printing on an edible body having a protruding height of a predetermined value or less by the printing unit 220, and separates the inkjet head 221 from the conveyance surface at a timing when the edible body having a protruding height exceeding the predetermined value passes through the printing unit 220, thereby causing a plurality of edible bodies in the row including said edible body to pass without being printed by the printing unit 220 and collecting the edible bodies by the recovery unit 60.

Abstract

If a normal hard gelatin capsule not provided with an air vent is used, particularly if the filling is a liquid, the capsule can become deformed after being sealed using a band seal liquid due to a rise in the internal pressure of the capsule when the capsule has been fit together. The problem addressed by the present invention is to provide a band seal liquid that can suppress deformation of this kind. This problem is solved by a band seal liquid for sealing a hard gelatin capsule without an air vent. The band seal liquid includes a water-containing hydrophilic solvent and a gelatin; the gelatin includes a low-viscosity gelatin; the shear viscosity of the low-viscosity gelatin is 0.5–5 mPa∙s; and the shear viscosity is the viscosity of a 6% by mass solution of the low-viscosity gelatin when measured at 60°C.

Abstract

A capsule direction restricting mechanism includes a supply path 10, a restricting device 20, and a discharge path 30. The restricting device 20 includes: a pressing member 40 that presses a capsule 90 at a predetermined position P in a width direction, and moves the capsule 90 toward the discharge path 30; and a slit-like posture changing portion 50 that is disposed between the predetermined position P and the discharge path 30, and changes the posture of the capsule 90. The posture changing portion 50 causes the cap 92 to slide and generate a frictional force when the capsule 90 passes through the posture changing portion 50, and thus causes the body 91 to precede the cap 92. The pressing member 40 includes: a protruding portion 41 that presses an axially central portion of the capsule 90; and cap pressing portions 42 and 43 that are provided on both sides of the protruding portion 41, and presses the cap 92 of the capsule 90 whose posture has been changed by the posture changing portion 50.

Abstract

A breakline information acquisition device 2 acquires breakline information of a tablet having a breakline on only one of the front and the back surfaces thereof. The breakline information acquisition device 2 comprises: a transport device 10 that holds and transports the tablets so that the front and the back surfaces thereof are exposed; a first imaging device 20 and a second imaging device 30 that respectively capture one and the other of the front and the back surfaces of the tablets transported by the transport device 10; and an arithmetic device that calculates the breakline information of the tablets on the basis of imaging data of the first imaging device 20 and the second imaging device 30. The arithmetic device determines which of the front and the back surfaces of the tablets is a breakline surface having the breakline, and acquires the breakline information on a non-breakline surface on the basis of the breakline extracted from the imaging data of the breakline surface.

Abstract

This device for marking an edible body is a device 1 for forming a marking pattern on an edible body by scanning with laser beam spots, wherein the marking pattern includes additional information based on location information of indicator dots I1 that have been removed by removal of some dots of laser beam spots from a basic pattern obtained by forming a plurality of the dots. This device for marking an edible body can include a large amount of information without making a consumer feel uncomfortable, and could also be effective as a measure to prevent counterfeit medicine. The indicator dots I1 may be a transformation of some of the dots, or dots that have been newly added.

Abstract

[Problem] To provide an ink that is an inkjet ink suitable for applying marking to a surface of an edible object such as a tablet, a capsule, or a food, that is excellent in ejectability of ink droplets from a nozzle of an inkjet printer, that prevents printing blur upon a material on which printing is to be performed, that can be continuously ejected, and that has desirable resistance to light and desirable fixability to the material on which the printing is to be performed. [Solution] The ink according to the present invention contains at least (i) a coloring material, (ii) a dispersion medium, and (iii) a dispersant, and the ink is characterized in that the coloring material is an activated carbon.

Abstract

Disclosed is an edible object marking apparatus (1) wherein a carrier means (20) successively conveys an edible object to a detecting means (210), a marking means (220), and a marking inspecting means (230) while holding the edible object, wherein the detecting means (210) captures an image of the edible object to acquire orientational data indicating the orientation of the edible object, the marking means (220) forms a pre-set marking pattern in accordance with the orientation of the edible object based on the orientational data, and the marking inspecting means (230) captures an image of the edible object, extracts marking pattern data, compares the marking pattern data with pre-set reference pattern data based on the orientational data acquired by the detecting means (210) to thereby inspect marking accuracy. This edible object marking apparatus makes it possible to promptly and easily obtain edible objects provided with an accurate marking.

Abstract

In this inkjet marking device (1), a printing means (220) is provided with a printing head (222) having a plurality of nozzles (224) provided thereto along a direction intersecting the conveyance direction of objects (P) to be printed on. The printing head (222) is supported so as to be capable of movement along the arrangement direction of the nozzles (224). During nozzle switching in which the nozzle (224) to be used is changed, a control means temporarily stops operation of a supply means (10), forms, in a conveyance means (20), a no-holding area in which the objects (P) to be printed on are not held in a holding unit (22), and, after printing on the objects (P) to be printed on has been performed, moves the printing head (222) while the no-holding area passes through a printing area (A).

Abstract

This inkjet-head cleaning device (1), which moves an inkjet head (10) from a printing position (P1) to a cleaning position (P2) to perform cleaning, is provided with: a conveyance means (20) which conveys the inkjet head (10) between the printing position (P1) and the cleaning position (P2); and a cleaning means (30) for cleaning a discharge surface (12) of the inkjet head (10) which has been conveyed to the cleaning position (P2). The conveyance means (20) changes the position of the inkjet head (10) such that the orientation of the discharge surface (12) of the inkjet head (10) is different in the printing position (P1) and the cleaning position (P2) respectively.
