Abstract

The present disclosure provides a toilet paper roll of which the position of a row of perforations can be found correctly and also provides a method of manufacturing the toilet paper roll. A perforation cutter 4 forms the row of perforations in a raw paper strip 10a pulled out from a raw paper roll 10, and marking nozzles 5 apply a prescribed liquid to the raw paper strip 10a to form marks at the row of perforations and at end portions of a paper strip of the toilet paper roll in the cross direction. The raw paper strip 10a is wound up in a winding unit 3. The toilet paper rolls are manufactured from this raw paper strip 10a.

Abstract

A log roll can be efficiently manufactured in a log roll manufacturing apparatus. When yet-to-be-wound base paper constituted of stacked sheets of first base paper and second base paper fed from first and second parent rolls is supplied to a main processing-winding unit, if a winder capable of manufacturing a two-ply log roll and including a sub processing-winding unit is to manufacture a one-ply log roll by using the main processing-winding unit, the yet-to-be-wound base paper constituted of the stacked sheets of the first base paper and the second base paper is separated into first separated yet-to-be-wound base paper and second separated yet-to-be-wound base paper by a base-paper separating unit. Then, one-ply log rolls are simultaneously manufactured by using the main processing-winding unit supplied with the first separated yet-to-be-wound base paper and the sub processing-winding unit supplied with the second separated yet-to-be-wound base paper.

Abstract

Provided is a coreless rolled paper manufacturing method that allows paper that has been wound into a roll shape to be used all the way until the final end thereof. This manufacturing method is characterized by comprising: a first step in which a paper 2 is wound into a roll shape to form a roll-shaped rolled paper 1; a second step in which an insertion unit that discharges an adhesive is inserted into a center hole 3 of the rolled paper 1; a third step in which the adhesive is applied to a prescribed location in the center hole 3; and a fourth step in which the place where the adhesive was applied is subjected to heated drying, and both ends 3a, 3b of the center hole 3 are stiffened, wherein in the third step, the adhesive is applied in the vicinity of both lengthwise ends of the center hole 3, said adhesive having an adhesiveness of such a degree that the paper 2 that was wound into the roll shape can be peeled away when the rolled paper 1 is used, and in the fourth step, the adhesive that was applied in the center hole 3 is dried before the adhesive spreads from the prescribed location in the center hole 3.

Abstract

Provided is a production method for deodorizing paper, in which particles having deodorant effects are contained, at a desired rate, into a thin paper sheet without a bias so that sufficient paper strength can be ensured, and stable quality can be maintained even when the paper sheet is formed into a roll-like product. The method comprises: a first process for dehydrating a band-like paper material placed on a screen net 16 of a wire part; a second process for transferring the dehydrated band-like paper material to a transfer means of a pressing part and further dehydrating the band-like paper material; and a third process for drying the dehydrated band-like paper material by means of a drying means of a drier part. Any one of the first process to third process includes a fourth process for ejecting, from ejection parts 17a-17e, a liquid that contains particles having deodorant effects. In the fourth process, the ejection parts 17a-17e have been arranged side by side in order to cause adhesion of the particle-containing liquid along the width direction of the band-like paper material, and the ejection parts 17a-17e sequentially eject the particle-containing liquid at a predetermined time interval so as to prevent occurrence of bias or damage in the fiber of the paper material.

The purpose of the present invention is to efficiently produce log rolls by means of a log roll production device capable of producing a multi-ply log roll using a plurality of parent rolls. A winder 1 can produce a two-ply log roll 62 when a main processing/spooling part 50A is supplied with a spoolable base sheet 12 in which are plied first and second spoolable base sheets 11a and 11b fed from first and second parent rolls 10A, 10B. The winder 1 is provided with a subprocessing/spooling part 50B. When producing a single-ply log roll 61 by means of the main processing/spooling part 50A, the spoolable base sheet 12 in which are plied the first and second spoolable base sheets 11a and 11b is separated by a spoolable base sheet separation unit 70 into a first separated spoolable base sheet 12a and a second separated spoolable base sheet 12b. The single-ply log roll 61 is produced by means of the main processing/spooling part 50A supplying the first separated spoolable base sheet 12a and the subprocessing/spooling part 50B supplying the second separated spoolable base sheet 12b at the same time.
