Abstract

Provided is a fuel cell separator manufacturing method and a fuel cell separator with which a reduction in sealing performance can be suppressed. The present invention is characterized by comprising: a layering step in which a first metal separator (21) and a second metal separator (22) are layered, each metal separator comprising a flat section (30) and bead sections (31) protruding from the flat section (30); and a welding step in which the layered flat sections (30) are welded to each other along the bead sections (31). The present invention is also characterized in that in the welding step, a welding merge section (Z) in which the welded sections merge with each other is formed at a position, on a welding route, which becomes a high rigidity section (U) where the rigidity is high, and/or at a position which is separated from the bead sections (31).

Abstract

In the production of ethyl alcohol by taking advantage of autofermentation of a microalga, a step for concentrating or recovering alga cells by centrifugation, filtration, etc. is omitted or simplified so as to save labor and facility required therefor. The microalga, which belongs to the genus Chlamydomonas sp., is a variant that is able to produce ethyl alcohol under anaerobic and dark conditions and has acquired an ability to grow in an aggregate state. In the ethyl alcohol production method, the microalga is grown and maintained under anaerobic and dark conditions to thereby allow the microalga to produce ethyl alcohol.

Abstract

In a fuel cell system, an adhesion detection apparatus for detecting adhesion of a second switching valve for a sub tank is provided. The adhesion detection apparatus opens a first switching valve and a second switching valve for switching to a double switching valve open state where a fuel cell performs power generation, and thereafter, closes the first switching valve and opens the second switching valve for switching to a second switching valve open state where the fuel cell performs power generation, and detects adhesion of the second switching valve based on a change of a detection value of a pressure sensor in the second switching valve open state.

Abstract

A cooling apparatus (1) includes: a cooling circuit (100) that includes three flow passages intersecting at an intersection point and allows a cooling liquid to circulate therethrough; a three-way valve (8) that is disposed at the intersection point and is switchable such that any two of the three flow passages communicate with each other; and a controller (9) that controls switching of the three-way valve (8). The controllerincludes an intermediate fixation determination unit. The intermediate fixationdetermination unit determines that the three-way valve is in an intermediate fixation state in which the three flow passages simultaneously communicate with one another, when a cooling liquid temperature difference between one of the two flow passages that are controlled to communicate with each other, and a remaining flow passage of the three flow passages that is not controlled to communicate, is smaller than a predetermined value.

Abstract

There is provided a controller for a hybrid vehicle which can improve fuel consumption performance and driveability.A controller for a hybrid vehicle which can run in an EV drive mode in which an electric motor 101 is driven by electric power of a battery 113 only and a series drive mode in which the electric motor 101 is driven by electric power generated by a generator 107 using power of an engine 109 includes a demanded driving force calculation unit for calculating a demanded driving force for the electric motor 101 based on vehicle speed and accelerator pedal opening, a demanded electric power calculation unit for calculating a demanded electric power demanded of the electric motor 101 based on the demanded driving force and a revolution speed of the electric motor 101, an available uppermost outputting value setting unit for setting an available uppermost outputting value for the battery 113 based on the conditions of the battery 103, and an engine starting determination unit for determining on the starting of the engine 109 based on the demanded electric power demanded of the electric motor 101. The engine starting determination unit starts the engine 109 so that the vehicle runs in the series drive mode when the demanded electric power demanded of the electric motor 101 exceeds the available uppermost outputting value.

Abstract

An article support having a mount section comprising: a first engaging element
(18) that has a pillar protruding from a base and a first hook extending from
the pillar so that it can be displaced elastically; and a second engaging
element that has a pillar protruding from the base and a second hook extending
from the pillar so that it can be displaced elastically. The first hook and
the second hook can be displaced elastically independently of each other and
are disposed on the sides opposite to each other with respect to the pillars
and. When the mount section is attached to an object, the pillar of the first
engaging element bears a load on the object and the first hook and the second
hook are engaged with the object to fixedly hold the article support on the
object.
