Abstract

Some examples of the present disclosure relate to the use of protrusions to create electrical continuity between surfaces of a welding-type device housing. In some examples, protrusions may be positioned proximate fastener holes of a housing surface, thereby allowing for a clamp force applied to fasteners extending through the fastener holes to be transferred to the protrusions. The clamp force combined with a sharpness of the protrusions may allow the protrusions to abrasively move and/or remove an electrically insulating powder coating finish from both the protrusions themselves and/or an adjoining housing surface, thereby exposing an underlying electrically conductive material. The exposed electrically conductive material of the protrusion of one housing surface and the exposed electrically conductive material of the adjoining housing surface may be put in contact with one another to create electrical continuity between the housing surfaces.

Abstract

In some examples, a robotic welding system includes an improved touch sensing process that identifies an intermediate position to which to move a welding-type tool and/or electrode between certain touches of the touch sensing process. Use of an intermediate position between certain touches may reduce the potential for accidental and/or unintentional contact with the part, which may be detrimental to a robotic welding process. The improved touch sense process may additionally automatically move the welding-type tool and/or welding electrode to the intermediate position between certain touches. Automatic movement to the intermediate position (e.g., rather than manual operator induced movement) may save the operator time and/or guard against human error and/or forgetfulness.

Abstract

A door lock assembly, including a cam, a slider and a pin assembly. The cam can rotate clockwise or counterclockwise about a camshaft, and the slider fits and engages with the cam, so when the cam rotates, the slider reciprocates in the length direction of the slider with the rotation. The slider is provided with a movement guide groove which defines a conventional movement path including a first and second segment of the conventional movement path. An end of the pin assembly can move relative to the slider in the conventional movement path with the reciprocation of the slider. The movement guide groove further defines an alternative movement path, and the end of the pin assembly can move relative to the slider in the first segment of the conventional movement path and the alternative movement path defined by the movement guide groove with the reciprocation of the slider, but does not move in the second segment of the conventional movement path.

Described herein are examples of differential pressure sensors designed to work with dynamic, high pressure, hydraulic systems. The sensors have a one piece sensor housing that is durable enough to withstand intense fluid pressures and associated stresses. Additionally, the sensors use foil (rather than, for example, piezoelectric) strain gauges to enable pressure measurement even under the unique stresses imposed by dynamic, high pressure, hydraulic systems. Furthermore, the sensor tubes of the sensor help to isolate the strain gauges from some of the bowing/bending stresses that the main body of the sensor may experience due to the intense fluid pressures.

Abstract

The present disclosure discloses a door handle assembly. The door handle assembly includes a base, a handle, a transmission assembly, and a door lock lever driving component. The base defines a receiving space. The handle is arranged in the receiving space and movable relative to the base. The transmission assembly is rotatable relative to the base. The door lock lever driving component is connected to the transmission assembly and has a locked position and an unlocked position, and the door lock lever driving component is movable relative to the base between the locked position and the unlocked position. A movement of the handle relative to the base is capable of driving rotation of the transmission assembly relative to the base, to drive the door lock lever driving component to move from the locked position to the unlocked position. The door handle assembly of the present disclosure is suitable for a door lock lever made of a hard material (e.g., metal, or plastic), has a simple structure and a stable movement, and can drive the door lock lever driving component to move between the locked position and the unlocked position, thereby enabling locking and unlocking of a door lock.

Abstract

A fume extraction system is designed for metal working and other applications. The fume extraction system includes one or more motors and/or adjustment devices to control fume suction airflow. One or more sensors may monitor a condition of the welding torch to determine a level of porosity of a weld. Control circuitry is operable to receive signals from the one or more sensors and/or power supply in order to determine the level of porosity. The control circuitry can compare information in the signals to a list of values associated with weld porosity to determine whether the level of porosity is within a desired range. In some examples, the control circuitry can control the fume extraction system to adjust suction airflow based on the determined level of porosity.

An example piston assembly includes a first end and an air inlet at a second end, a piston, a bore configured to receive the piston, at least one biasing device for biasing the piston, and an actuator arranged at the second end of the piston assembly, wherein the actuator applies a force to the welding wire in order to maintain the welding wire in a predetermined position.

Abstract

Systems and methods are provided for utilizing discrete input controls for push-pull guns/torches, spool guns/torches, MIG (GTAW) torches, and/or TIG (GTAW) torches. A welding-type torch configured for applying welds may include an input component configured for setting a welding-type parameter associated with a welding-type device that is used in conjunction with the welding-type torch during welding-type operations, with the input component configured to cause adjusting the welding-type parameter by a preset discrete value in response to each individual action on the input component by a user of the welding-type torch.

Abstract

Disclosed conveyors for contact cleaning system include an inbound conveyor, and an outbound conveyor spaced apart from the inbound conveyor by a distance (A), wherein the inbound conveyor and/or the outbound conveyor is movable relative to the other of the inbound conveyor or the outbound conveyor between a retracted position in which the distance (A) is a first distance (Acleaning) and an extended position in which the distance (A) is less than the first distance (Acleaning).
