Abstract

The invention relates to an apparatus for additively manufacturing components, in particular by means of selective melting or sintering, said apparatus comprising: a light source for generating a light beam; and a machining head which either is coupled to the light source by means of a beam guide so that the light beam is guided to the machining head, or the light source is positioned directly on the machining head so that a light beam can be directed from the machining head onto a machining region, the machining head being movably mounted so that the light beam can be directed to any desired location in the machining region. The invention is characterised in that several machining heads are provided each for directing a light beam on the machining region, and the machining heads are each positioned on a carriage which can be moved along a traverse. This makes it possible to melt or sinter powder simultaneously at several locations. Preferably, the machining heads are positioned on swivel arms. This makes it possible to design the device in a very simple and cost-effective manner.

Abstract

The invention relates to a press for a casting machine and a casting machine with such a press. The press has a baseplate, an upper frame and a movable clamping platen, with two front columns and two rear columns arranged at the corner zones of the plates and at the corner zones of the upper frame. These columns extend through suitable through openings in the movable clamping platen and are fixed to the baseplate at the stationary upper frame. The press is characterized in that the front columns have a greater distance from one another than the rear columns. Because of this, essentially wider or longer permanent molds or those with side-protruding slides, up to a width corresponding to the increased distance apart of the front columns, may be inserted into the area between the baseplates and the movable clamping platen, and removed again. This means that better use can be made of the pressure and pressing capacity of the press, while the press is similarly or comparably simple, stable and compact in design and as advantageous for production and maintenance as conventional presses with columns arranged in a rectangle.

Abstract

The invention relates to a crack-split moulding tool for producing a foam particle part, having two mould halves (2, 3). The mould halves (2, 3) are pivotably mounted relative to one another such that they can be arranged at a varying distance from each other in certain sections when being filled with foam particles and when pressing together, are moved together at a varying distance until in a closed position, due to a pivoting movement. As a result, it is possible to homogeneously compress areas of the moulding cavity (6) having a different thickness and to compress in a different manner, area having the same thickness.

Abstract

The invention relates to a press for a casting machine and to a casting machine with such a press. The press comprises a baseplate, an upper frame and a movable mounting plate, wherein two front posts and two rear posts are arranged in the corner regions of the plates and the corner regions of the upper frame, extend through corresponding through-holes in the movable mounting plate and are fixed on the baseplate and the stationary upper frame. The press is distinguished by the fact that the front posts are at a greater distance from one another than the rear posts. As a result, moulds that are themselves wider or longer or moulds that have laterally protruding slides up to a width that corresponds to the increased distance between the front posts can be introduced into and removed from the region between the baseplate and the movable mounting plate. This allows the pressing capacity of the press to be utilized better, while the press is of a similarly or comparably simple, stable and compact construction and as easy to produce and maintain as conventional presses with posts arranged in a rectangle.

The mold comprises a cavity chase (12) and at least one mold plate (13) that is movable relative to the cavity chase. The cavity chase is characterized in that it has front walls (16) that are more rigid than the inner wall (15) facing the mold cavity. According to another aspect of the invention, the mold plate comprises a reinforcing structure that is designed independently of a hollow chamber structure (23) of the mold plate, and vapor is conducted exclusively through the hollow chamber structure of the mold plate. Furthermore, fins (45) of the hollow chamber structure can be slanted so that condensed water forming in the hollow chamber structure flows away from the inner wall of the mold plate. According to a further aspect, a sealing element (33) surrounds the mold plate. Said sealing element is designed as an inflatable tube.
