Abstract

The present invention relates to a seat system (1) for helicopters, comprising a frame (2) which can be fastened to the helicopter, an energy absorption arrangement (3) which comprises a first deformation device (6), forming a gap (4) with a first gap width (5), and a first tube (7) arranged in the gap (4), the diameter (8) of the tube outside of the gap (4) being greater than the first gap width (5), and comprising a seat unit (9) displaceably mounted on the frame (2) and fixedly connected to an element of the energy absorption arrangement (3) such that, in the case of an acceleration caused by a fall, a displacement of the seat unit (9) along the frame (2) is damped by the energy absorption arrangement (3), in which the first deformation device (6) and the first tube (7) are moved relative to each other, by which means the first tube (7), which is moved relative to the gap (4), is deformed, wherein the energy absorption arrangement (3) comprises a second tube (12) arranged in a gap (4) of the first deformation device (6) having a second gap width (10) or in a gap (4) of a second deformation device (11) having a second gap width (10), the diameter (8) of the second tube being greater outside of the gap (4) than the second gap width (10), and additionally a coupling unit (13) is provided which connects the second tube (12) or the second deformation device (11) as required to the seat unit (9) so that in the coupled state, in the case of an acceleration, the second tube (12) is deformed by a movement relative to the corresponding deformation device (6, 11), by which means the damping of the displacement of the seat unit (9) is increased.

Disclosed is a safety seat for landcraft, aircraft, and watercraft. In said safety seat, the load generated by a person sitting in the seat is absorbed by textile straps and is deflected into a structure that is fixed to the vehicle. Said safety seat is characterized in that the straps (10) are formed at least in part by two strap sections that are interconnected by means of a seam (11). Furthermore, the W-shaped seam (11) which extends in the longitudinal direction of the strap sections that are sewed together is designed as a zigzag seam such that the seam (11) can be stretched at least to the same extent as the strap without ripping.

Abstract

The invention relates to a land, air or sea vehicle comprising a seat that is held in a supporting structure consisting of tensioned textile straps, for transporting a person who occupies the seat. The supporting structure is fixed to parts of the vehicle structure that lie above and below the seat surface. The vehicle is characterised in that the supporting structure is configured as a supporting frame (14) that encircles the seat (13), which is configured as a textile seat shell (19) with a seat surface (20) and a backrest (21) and that said frame consists of a textile strap (15, 16), which is guided through annular eyelets (17). The strap sections that run on either side of the seat (13) form diagonal straps (15) running between an annular eyelet (17) that is located below the seat surface (20) and an annular eyelet (17) that is located above the backrest (21) and the seat can be displaced along the diagonal straps (15). At least one adjusting strap (23) runs from the backrest (21) of the seat (13) to a fixing device (24, 33) for said strap (23) that is situated above the seat (13).
