Abstract

⏧PROBLEMS] To provide a gas separator which can be reduced in size and weight and can be used even with no power supply on occasion. ⏧MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] At least a part of a bulkhead for partitioning the exterior and interior of a gastight container (2) is constituted to include a gas separation membrane (13), and the bulkhead is arranged to move and/or deform at least partially through action of external force thus reducing the inner volume of the gastight container. The gas separation membrane is arranged to separate/discharge at least a part of gas g1 contained in the gas G from the gas G filling the gastight container to the outside of the container when the total pressure P in the gastight container exceeds a total pressure P1 (PឬP1) due to reduction in volume. When the total pressure in the gastight container reaches P2 (P2ᡶP1) due to further reduction in volume in the gastight container, a gas take-out valve interconnects the interior and exterior of the gastight container and can discharge gas g2 remaining in the gastight container to the outside.
