Abstract

The invention relates to a self-aligning wind turbine comprising a repeller assembly (2) with at least three wind barriers which are arranged in a rigid manner relative to one another. At least two of the wind barriers, in particular all of the wind barriers, are repellers (1). Each repeller (1) has at least one vane (1.1) which can rotate about a rotational axis of the respective repeller (1). One repeller (1) is a wind barrier. The centers (1.3) of the at least three wind barriers are arranged on at least two repeller planes (6.1, 6.2, 6.3) which lie parallel to each other in a mutually spaced manner. The repeller planes (6.1, 6.2, 6.3) are perpendicular to the rotational axes of the wind barriers. All of the repellers (1) of the repeller assembly (2) are aligned identically. The centers of the at least three wind barriers lie on a common assembly plane (7). The assembly plane (7) is substantially perpendicular to the repeller planes (6.1, 6.2, 6.3). A convex envelope (9) of all of the centers of all of the wind barriers defines an assembly surface (7.1). The assembly surface (7.1) has an axis of symmetry (7.11). The wind turbine comprises a rotational axis (3.1) about which the repeller assembly (2) can be rotated so as to allow the self-aligning function. The point of passage of the rotational axis (3.1) through the assembly surface (7.1) lies on the axis of symmetry (7.11), namely in front of a load focal point (4).

Abstract

The invention relates to wind turbine installations for generating power. The wind turbine installations comprise a turbine support (17) having at least two wind turbines (4, 4', 4''). A wind turbine installation according to the invention further comprises a tower console (1) having at least one bearing point (2). Said bearing point (2) enables the turbine support (17) to rotate about the vertical axis of the turbine support (17) and relative to a foundation (15). The turbine support (17) is connected to the tower console by means of tower supports (5, 5'). The installation further comprises electronics (18), which include an electronic control. The electronics (18) are also designed in such a manner that the electronics (18) are rotatable about the vertical axis of the turbine support (17) relative to the foundation (18) and relative to a power supply line (13).

Abstract

The present invention relates to a rotor blade (1) and a corresponding rotor for a wind turbine having a reduced rotor diameter and improved performance. The rotor blade (1) for a wind turbine has a blade root (3) with a defined first diameter as an attachment to a hub, and a rotor blade end (2), with a second defined diameter, opposite the blade root. The rotor blade (1) also has a trailing edge (7) and a leading edge (8) in relation to the direction of rotation of the rotor blade (1) during operation. The leading edge (8) and the trailing edge (7) each have a curvature. The first diameter is smaller than the second diameter.
