Abstract

Elongate workpieces are transported in a transport direction and assembled to a string in the transport direction. A leading elongate workpiece is removed from the string and accelerated in a downstream discharge device such that a gap is formed between the leading elongate workpiece and a following elongate workpiece of the string. A stop is moved into the gap and prevents the following elongate workpiece of the string from being transported farther. The stop is removed when the leading elongate workpiece has left the discharge device and then the following elongate workpiece is removed from the string.

Abstract

Method for producing blocks of wooden parts which are placed against one another and glued together, and installation for carrying out the method. Blocks of wooden parts (1) which are placed against one another and glued together are produced using the method. They are subjected to aligning pressure in the direction of their bearing side and to pressing pressure transversely to their glued lateral faces. The aligning pressure is applied transversely to the glued lateral faces. They lie obliquely to the bearing sides of the wooden parts (1) and convert the aligning pressure into the pressing pressure, with respect to which the glued lateral faces lie obliquely. The wooden parts (1) can have a triangular or trapezoidal cross section. The installation has at least one feeding unit and at least one glueing station for the wooden parts (1) and at least one pressing station (39). Arranged upstream thereof is at least one baling station (38), the charging end thereof for the wooden parts (1) being provided with at least one transfer unit (49). The latter is used to insert the wooden parts (1) into the baling station (38) in such a way that successive wooden parts (1) are each rotated about their longitudinal axis in such a way that they lie on one another by way of their oblique longitudinal sides.

Abstract

A sawing apparatus for sawing workpieces of wood or plastic material has an adjustable frame part and a drive motor. A circular saw blade is operatively connected to the drive motor and drivable in rotation by the drive motor about an axis of rotation of the circular saw blade. The circular saw blade is adjustable from a ready position into a working position. The ready position is selected as a function of a position of the adjustable frame part such that the circular saw blade carries out a minimized angular travel as working travel during sawing. The adjustable frame part is adjustable at least in a vertical direction and/or in a horizontal direction transverse to the axis of rotation of the circular saw blade as a function of a cross-section of a workpiece to be sawed.

Abstract

The device has a sawing station with cross-cut saw downstream of a feed transport device feeding workpieces to a transport unit of the sawing station that has a drive separate from that of the feed transport device. The feed transport device has a retaining/accumulating unit driven independently of a transport element of the feed transport device and subjecting the workpieces to a slower supply speed than the transport element. A transfer transport device is located between retaining/accumulating unit and sawing station. The drive of the transport element of the transfer transport device is controlled/adjusted independent of or by the drive of the retaining/accumulating unit via mechanically coupled step-up gear. The workpieces initially accumulate in the feed transport device and abut each other and are then transported onward with acceleration so that they are again spaced apart. The workpiece position is detected in the region of the transfer transport device.
