Abstract
The screw tensioning device comprises a support tube (12), a cylinder member (15) and a piston section (17). The piston section serves for moving a tensioning bolt (20) screwed onto the thread of a threaded bolt (31). Provided according to the invention is a depth measuring device (35), which presents an externally visible indication of the screw-in depth (ET) of the threaded bolt (31). This ensures that, when the threaded bolt (31) undergoes extension under strain, there is a threaded engagement with the tensioning bolt (20) along a sufficiently long distance. This avoids the hazard that the screw tensioning device might break off from the threaded bolt.

Abstract
The pressure supply unit has a pressure generating aggregate (10), which generates a supply pressure (PL) for the intermittent operation of a power screwdriver (11). So as to allow also a tensioning cylinder unit (33) to be operated alternatively to the power screwdriver (11), which requires higher pressure, a pressure intensifier (30) is provided which is included in a separate module (31) and generates high pressure (PH) from the supply pressure (PL). The reversal of the pressure intensifier (30) for carrying out strokes is achieved by the same stroke switch valve (20) which otherwise performs the reversal of the power screwdriver (11).

Abstract
A hydraulic aggregate comprises a container, a reservoir for hydraulic oil, and a pump driven by a motor arranged in the reservoir. The motor is a pneumatic motor. An electric control unit for controlling a main valve is mounted on the container. The main valve causes a reversal of the stroke direction of the hydraulic connections. The division into pneumatics and low power electronics leads to an explosion-proof embodiment of low weight and little technical complexity.

Abstract
The screwdriver has a drive part (11), from which a transmission part (12) projects in the axial direction. The drive part (11) is connected to a first handle (20) and a second handle (30). Both handles contain switching units (23, 33), in order to be able to turn on the drive of the screwdriver. The transmission part (12) has a support base (14) for support against a fixed buttress. The transmission part (12) can be rotated relative to the drive part (11) with the support base (14). When the bit (13) is placed on a rotating screw, the transmission part can rotate about its longitudinal axis and slowly pivot the support base (14) at the same time, until the support base is incident on the fixed buttress.

Abstract
The invention relates to a method for joining components by means of tensioning bolts. According to said method, the pressure is linearly increased over time when the tensioning bolt is hydraulically tensioned by means of a tensioning device. When a target value (Pmax) is reached, the volume is blocked so that no more hydraulic oil is supplied. The pressure decreases when the components show a setting behavior during a holding time (tH). Pumping is resumed when a lower threshold value (Pi) is reached, resulting in a pressure increase up to the target value (Pmax). The invention prevents a setting process of the components from preventing that the projected pretension of the tensioning bolt is reached.

Abstract
A hydraulic aggregate for supplying a hydraulic cylinder in consecutive load lifts (LHl, LH2, LH3, LH4) is monitored for its working load in order to determine the state of the aggregate automatically. For this purpose, the time interval of the pressure is determined for each load lift. The pressure and duration are processed into a characteristic number which indicates the wear, making it possible to diagnose the state of the hydraulic aggregate at any time.

Abstract
The invention relates to a hydraulic power screwdriver comprising a ratchet lever (16) driven by a hydraulic cylinder. According to the invention, said power screwdriver is provided with a friction brake (20) which operates continuously between the housing (10) and the output shaft (14). In this way, reversed rotations of the output shaft following the individual working strokes are avoided.
