Abstract

The invention relates to a method for crystallising plastic granules having a gluing tendency, in particular PET- and PU granules consisting in exposing the granules to oscillating vibration in a vibrating trough (1) transversally to the longitudinal extension direction of the trough at a temperature close to the reaction temperature of the granules. The granule flow moves on a screw shaped path arranged in the trough, thereby making it possible to obtain a narrow dwell period spectrum and a homogenous temperature profile for the granule particles and to reliably prevent the agglutination thereof.
