Abstract

A safety hook includes a hook body and a trigger unit. The hook body has an opening. The trigger unit includes a keeper member and a trigger member. The keeper member is connected to the hook body. The trigger member is connected to the keeper member. The keeper member is operable to pivot relative to the hook body. The trigger member engages the hook body, and is unable to pivot relative to the keeper member so as to block the opening of the hook body when the keeper member is at a released position. The trigger member is moved via the keeper member to be disengaged from the hook body, and is able to pivot to unblock the opening of the hook body when the keeper member is at a pressed position.

Abstract

A safety snap hook includes a body defining a hook throat opening, a pivotable gate biased to close the hook throat opening, a pivotable trigger extending through an aperture in the gate and biased to press against a locking surface of the gate, and a pivotable locking member biased to a locking position whereat rotation of the gate relative to the body is prevented. When free ends of the trigger and the locking member are rotated toward the body to remove the trigger from the locking surface and rotate the locking member to a release position, the gate can be rotated relative to the body to open the hook throat opening.

Abstract

A safety hook includes a main body defining an inner space and an opening, a latch unit pivoted to the main body, an operable unit pivoted to the main body, and a safety lock unit. The latch unit is normally at a closed position for blocking the opening. When the operable unit is pressed, the safety lock unit is co-rotatable with the operable unit with respect to the main body from a locked position, where the safety lock unit abuts against the latch unit to retain the latch unit at the closed position, to an unlocked position, where the safety lock unit is removed from the latch unit to allow the latch unit to rotate from the closed position to an opened position allowing access into the inner space through the opening.

Abstract

A safety hook includes: a hook body having a base segment that has front and rear end portions, the rear end portion being formed with an elongate groove that is defined by a groove-defining wall which has a lower surface; a latch locking unit including a limiting rod that extends through the elongate groove and that is in sliding contact with the lower surface of the groove-defining wall; and a latch unit pivoted to the front end portion.
