Abstract

A method is provided for the multi-axis shaping of a hollow workpiece, such as a polygonal hollow workpiece. Abstract

A housing of a radial press has a casing section and an annular end-face support disc. An annular structure is movably guided in the housing along a press axis, and multiple press jaws arranged about the press axis are supported on the support disc so as to be movably guided in the radial direction. When producing a high-pressure hydraulic line, a connection fitting is attached to a multi-layer high-pressure hose having a reinforcing layer. Abstract

Abstract

A radial press of yoke press type comprises a press tool, which comprises press jaws, and two structural elements (1, 2), which comprise in each case one press yoke (3, 4). The press yokes can be moved relative to one another by means of a drive unit comprising two tie rods (6) and between them form a receiving chamber (7) in which the press tool is received. Here, a compensation device (9) is provided, said compensation device having a further drive unit (11), which acts between the two structural elements (1, 2) and which acts on at least one of the structural elements with an offset with respect to the reference plane defined by the two tie rods, and having an associated regulating unit. The force which is provided by the drive element of the further drive unit and which acts between the two structural elements counteracts a change of the press geometry which arises during pressing as a result of an arrangement of the workpiece offset with respect to the reference plane.

Abstract

A radial press comprising a first and a second structure, each having a press yoke that form a receiving chamber for a press tool. Abstract

The invention relates to a radial press for the radial deformation of workpieces (1) relative to a press axis comprising a first and a second structure (9, 10), each having a press yoke (3, 4). The two press yokes form a receiving chamber for a press tool (6).
