TUBULAR PLANTING SLEEVE AND USE OF SAME FOR PRE-CULTIVATING AND PLANTING FORESTRY AND FRUIT PLANTS
A tubular planting sleeve (210) for forestry and fruit plants has an opening at each opposite end and therebetween, along a longitudinal axis, a wall (218) of biodegradable material, the inner circumferential surface of which delimits a hollow space which is suitable for receiving a plant germ embedded in a substrate, from which plant germ a vital main root is to form in the planting sleeve. The wall comprises first and second wall portions (224, 226) a) of different wall thicknesses, which alternate, as seen in cross-section, or b) of different materials which biodegrade at different speeds. The smaller wall thickness - or the material which biodegrades more quickly - provides predefined decomposition points at which, during biodegradation of the planting sleeve, holes first occur in the wall, while the larger wall thickness - or the material which biodegrades more slowly - reinforces the planting sleeve.

Flexible Hose, in Particular a Vacuum Cleaner Hose, and Method for Producing Same
The invention relates to a flexible hose (10), which has a corrugated-profile inner hose (12) for conveying media along a longitudinal axis (18) and is surrounded, on an outer face (20), by a substantially flat covering (22), and is provided, on at least one of its two ends, with a connection piece. An electrical conductor (30) is situated radially between the inner hose and the covering, which conductor extends from one end to the other end of the inner hose and terminates in the connection piece to provide electrical contact. The electrical conductor is formed by a resilient flat-conductor assembly (32) which extends along the hose in an electrically insulated manner in parallel with the longitudinal axis and is held on the corrugated profile (34) of the inner hose at least by the covering. The invention also relates to a method for producing such a hose on a large scale.
A flexible hose (10), in particular a vacuum cleaner hose, has a wavily profiled inner hose (12), which is surrounded by a substantially smooth sheathing (14) and is provided with a hollow connection piece (18) at at least one end (16). The inner hose with the sheathing extends into the connection piece, the sheathing being fastened to the inner hose by a sheath securing member (20). Also attached to the inner hose is a retaining sleeve (24), which forms a first stop face (28) for the connection piece and has a second stop face (30) for a connecting piece securing member (32) which is fastened to the connection piece in order to fix the latter in a tension- and compression-resistant manner with regard to the inner hose via the retaining sleeve.
In a method for producing a coiled tubing (RW) from a thermoplastic material, in a first shaping step a tubular extrudate (EX) is extruded via an annular nozzle gap (16) in an extruder (12) before, in a second shaping step directly following the first shaping step, the extrudate which is drawn down from the nozzle gap and is still plastically deformable is calibrated in a shaping device (18) in order to obtain a geometrically defined profile cross section (PQ) and is shaped into the coiled tubing, whereupon the coiled tubing having the geometrically determined profile cross section solidifies. This method allows for continuous production of the coiled tubing with a new, high quality in respect of dimensional and shape tolerances on the profile cross section of the coiled tubing. The invention also relates to a device (10) for producing such a coiled tubing.

A flexible hose (10), for a vacuum cleaner, has a wall (12), an inner side (14) of which delimiting a cavity (16) for conveying media and at least one outer side (18) of which having a profiling (20) which has, in section, seen along a longitudinal axis (22) of the hose, elevations (24) and depressions (26). On the outer side of the wall, at least one electrically conductive track (28) is provided which extends around the wall and is in electrical contact with at least one electrically conductive thread (30) which electrically connects ends of the hose facing away from one another. The electrically conductive thread is fastened to the outer side in a manner extending substantially along the longitudinal axis of the hose and transverse to the electrically conductive track.

F16L 11/08 - Hoses, i.e. flexible pipes made of rubber or flexible plastics with reinforcements embedded in the wall
The invention relates to a flexible hose (10), in particular a vacuum cleaner hose, comprising a corrugated-profile inner hose (12) which delimits, by means of an inner face, a cavity for conveying media along a longitudinal axis (18), is surrounded, on an outer face (20), by a substantially flat covering (22), and is provided, on at least one of its two ends, with a connection piece. An electrical conductor (30) is situated radially between the inner hose and the covering, which conductor extends from one end to the other end of the inner hose and terminates in the connection piece to provide electrical contact. The electrical conductor is formed by a resilient flat-conductor assembly (32) which extends along the hose in an electrically insulated manner in parallel with the longitudinal axis and is held on the corrugated profile (34) of the inner hose at least by the covering, as a result of which in particular hoses which are long, equipped with electrical conductors and have a low weight can be produced cost-effectively.
The inner hose with the sheathing extends into the connection piece, the sheathing being fastened to the inner hose there by means of a sheath securing means (20). Also attached to the inner hose is a retaining sleeve (24), which forms a first stop face (28) for the connection piece and has a second stop face (30) for a connection-piece securing means (32) which is fastened to the connection piece in order to fix the latter in a tension- and compression-resistant manner with regard to the inner hose via the retaining sleeve. In particular to simplify the assembly and improve the ease of repair, the sheathing terminates substantially flush with the end of the inner hose in the connection piece or protrudes only slightly therefrom. In addition, both the sheathing is attached form-fittingly to the outer circumference of the inner hose by means of the sheath securing means and the retaining sleeve is attached form-fittingly to the inner circumference of the inner hose.
A flexible hose (10), more particularly a vacuum cleaner hose, has a wall (12), an inner side (14) of which delimits a cavity (16) for conveying media and at least one outer side (18) of which has a profiling (20) which has, in section, seen along a longitudinal axis (22) of the hose, elevations (24) and depressions (26). On the outer side of the wall, at least one electrically conductive track (28) is provided which extends around the wall and is in electrical contact with at least one electrically conductive thread (30) which electrically connects ends of the hose facing away from one another. The electrically conductive thread is fastened to the outer wall in a manner extending substantially along the longitudinal axis of the hose and transverse to the electrically conductive track, as a result of which the hose is better suited for recycling with use of a proportionally low amount of electrically conductive material. Furthermore, a method for producing such a hose and a device which can be used herefor are proposed.

An anti-kink device for hoses with an external corrugated structure, in particular for vacuum cleaner hoses, such hoses comprising at least one external groove-like channel which runs in a helical manner. The anti-kink device is formed by a wire coil made from spring steel which is screwed into the groove-like channel from one hose end and is fixed to the hose end. This anti-kink device is applied over the entire hose length or only partially at points of the hose which are at risk of kinking.
A kink protector is described for a line (such as an electrical line) that is led outwardly through a wall opening in a connecting sleeve of a hose or a pipe (such as a vacuum cleaner hose). The kink protector includes a mounting cap, which encloses the line, and a support helix that is integral with the cap and surrounds the line and is resilient to bending. An outlet stub is provided at the connecting sleeve, which is connected with the wall opening, and into which the mounting cap can be pushed with at least axial fixing of the line in a mechanically positive and detenting manner for the line.

A handle arrangement on a vacuum cleaner hose has an inner bushing non-rotatably attached to one end of the hose and is inserted in a handle tube and axially fixed therein such that it can rotate. Electrical leads are guided outwards from the hose and the inner bushing in a radial direction through a wall opening of the handle tube and into the cavity of a handle part. The handle part is firmly connected at both ends to the handle tube. The electrical leads are fixed so as to form a length reserve loop in the cavity. A receiving space is provided on the inner bushing, into which electrical leads from the length reserve loop are shifted when relative rotations take place between the hose and the handle tube. The possible rotation angle is delimited by stops according to the lead length available in the length reserve loop.
