Abstract
A screw actuator may comprise: a barrel; a piston rod movable in the barrel in an extending direction and in a retracting direction; an elongated screw in the bore of the barrel and rotatable by a motor drive; a nut coupled to the piston rod and movable in the bore of the barrel in the extending direction and in the retracting direction responsive to rotation of the elongated screw; and a plurality of lock segments in the piston rod and movable radially outward and radially inward in response to movement of the nut. The plurality of lock segments engage the barrel when moved radially outward and do not engage the barrel when moved radially inward, whereby the piston rod is lockable to the barrel by the plurality of lock segments for bearing loads applied thereto.

Abstract
A bent axis, variable displacement inline drive device (100) may comprise: a port plate (110) having fluid passages; a cylinder block (130) rotatably mounted adjacent the port plate (110) and having axial cylinders (132) having openings in alternating fluid communication with the fluid passages; a rotatable shaft (170) coupled through the port plate (110) to the cylinder block (130), pistons (142) in the cylinders (132) and having a connecting rod (140) extending from the cylinder block (130); a rotatable spindle (150) having receptacles for receiving the connecting rods (140); a pivotable yoke (160) having the spindle (150) rotatably mounted thereon, whereby the rotating group (130-160) comprising the spindle (150), pistons (142) and cylinder block (130) are connected by the connecting rods (140) for rotating together, the yoke (160) being pivotable for angling the spindle (150) relative to the cylinder block (130).
IPC Classes ?

Abstract
In a preferred embodiment, an apparatus, including; telescoping inner and outer members; a release collar circumferentially encircling the outer member; at least one rotatably mounted pawl disposed in the outer member; the at least one rotatably mounted pawl being depressed into at least a first depression formed circumferentially in the inner member by the release collar; and the at least one rotatably mounted pawl being movable between unlocked and locked positions. A vibration damper for the hold open rod is also provided.
