The invention relates to the field of biodegradable sheets, and in particular to a multi-layered biodegradable sheet, having at least one layer, comprising a first hydrophobic polymer and a second hydrophobic polymer. The first hydrophobic polymer may be PCL, PHA or a mixture thereof. The second hydrophobic may be PBS, PBSA, PLA, PBAT, PDO, PGA or a mixture thereof. The biodegradable sheet further comprises at least one additional layer comprising PBS or PBSA. The use of such a layer prolongs the shelf life of the biodegradable sheets and is suitable for direct contact with liquids, semi-solids and solids, while maintaining the required mechanical and stability properties of the biodegradable sheet.
