Abstract
A shaft coupler, a tool and a method of assembling a tool. The shaft coupler may generally include substantially identical coupling members operable to couple two shaft segments of a tool. The shaft coupler may include a first coupling member including a first body having a first coupling end and an opposite first shaft end defining a first opening configured to receive a first shaft segment; and a second coupling member including a second body having a second coupling end and an opposite second shaft end defining a second opening configured to receive a second shaft segment. The first coupling member and the second coupling member may be identical. The first coupling end may be configured to engage the second coupling end to selectively couple the first coupling member to the second coupling member and, thereby, the first shaft segment to the second shaft segment.

Abstract
A fogger includes a blower tube having a passageway, a fan configured to rotate to generate an airflow through the passageway, a reservoir configured to hold a volume of fluid and a volume of air, an air pump in fluid communication with the fluid in the reservoir, a motor configured to drive the fan and the air pump, an atomizing valve, a dispensing line fluidly coupling the atomizing valve to the passageway, a liquid tube fluidly coupling the fluid in the reservoir to the atomizing valve, and an air escape line fluidly coupling the air in the reservoir to the atomizing valve. In response to the air pump providing a stream of compressed air to the reservoir, air moves through the air escape line from the reservoir to the atomizing valve, such that fluid is drawn through the liquid tube and into the atomizing valve to be atomized.

Abstract
A system and method for a double source battery charger of an engine- generator. The double source battery charger of the engine-generator includes an electric starter and a battery. The electric starter is selectively energized by the battery to start an engine of the engine-generator. The double source charger maintains the battery at a desired charge such that the battery has sufficient charge to energize the electric starter. The double source battery charger is selectively coupled to one of two power sources to charge the battery: an alternator of the engine-generator and an external AC source, such as a standard 120 Volt or 240 Volt wall outlet. As a result, the battery is charged by either power from a wall outlet or, if the generator is running, by power provided from the alternator.

Abstract
In some conventional leaf blowers, air exhausted from the blower must travel through a bend before being directed through the output, reducing efficiency. In the present invention, the orientation of the blower system on the frame allows the output hose to be attached without the use of a bend thereby reducing air resistance and increasing efficiency. The present invention provides a leaf blower to be worn by a user and having a frame, a blower system, and an output tube. The blower system of the leaf blower includes an impeller having an axis of rotation and defining a working plane substantially perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The impeller and the tube axis of the output both lie on the working plane.

Abstract
A cutting tool has a cutting head, a motor and a transmission means drivable by the motor. The cutting head comprises first and second cutting members, wherein the first cutting member is pivotably moveable with respect to the second cutting member. At least the first cutting member is drivable by the transmission means between a first angular position with respect to the second cutting member and a second angular position with respect to the second cutting member, in which a space between the respective cutting blades is closed. The transmission means is a bevel gear on the output shaft of a gearbox which conveys drive power from the motor to the drive gear. The bevel gear directly engages a bevel wheel member connected to the first cutting member and which swivels with the first cutting member about the same swivel point. A controller comprises main, first and second switches which control the motor to move the first cutting member (movable blade). The main switch acts as a main power switch whereas the first ad second switches act as limit switches detecting movement of said movable blade at the limits of its intended motion. The controller exerts automatic control over movement of the first cutting member in response to inputs from the first and second limit switches.

Abstract
A hybrid engine and battery generator and a method of operating the same. The generator is controlled to operate in at least three modes: a battery-only mode, a battery charging mode, and a boost mode. In the battery-only mode, the engine is off and an internal battery of the generator is used by an inverter to generate AC output. In the battery charging mode, the engine generates DC power, via an alternator and rectifier, which is used to charge the battery and to supply power to the inverter to generate AC output. In the boost mode, the battery and the engine generate DC power that is used by the inverter to generate an AC output with increased wattage, relative to the battery-only mode and battery charging mode. The generator automatically switches between the modes based on battery level and load demand.

Abstract
A portable pressure washer system includes a frame having at least one strap configured such that the frame is supported by a user by way of the at least one strap. A torque generating device is supported by the frame and has an output shaft. A pump is selectively coupled to the output shaft to receive a torque generated by the torque generating device. The pump includes an inlet for connecting to a remote fluid source and an outlet for connecting to a high pressure fluid delivery mechanism. The pump receives a fluid from the remote fluid source by way of the inlet, is driven by the torque generating device to raise a pressure of the fluid to a high pressure fluid, and delivers the high pressure fluid to the high pressure fluid delivery mechanism by way of the outlet.
